Dear Aaron, my name is Simon, I am 20 years old and from Germany. I grew up watching pretty much every game of your career and trying to listen to every interview you gave. You are far more than just my favorite sportsman to me, I declared you to be my hero early on and you grew into a rolemodel for me. Even though I didn’t grow up in such a religious situation as you did, I see lots of parallels in the way that we both seem to think. I feel like I have adapted the way you self-reflect and the self love and consciousness you talked about at the end. I could say I kinda grew up with you. And I still do nowadays. I mean when I face adversity I still come back to some highlightreels of you and the team. For example those run the table movies on KZfaq really pick me up and motivate me to get to work on myself and to fulfill my will. I want to thank you so much for being such a positive impact to my live. I hope you read this and you can at least shed a smile. Stay safe and go pack go, Simon

Hey Simon, it might be only because I am from Germany too and no question even I guess I am a year older as Aaron he is one of the greatest guys in sports! And all who read Simons comment, you should know that Germany had no live NFL on TV (only playoffs or SB) since 2015 a small niche station started and luckily did an amazing job so we have 2 live games each week. To watch nearly all Packers was for sure not an easy thing for a young kid. Following Aaron as his role model was a smart idea for a young boy and Aaron being a role model for kids at the other end of the planet doesn´t come from win 6 rings as remote-controlled top model boy toy. So both keep on doing the right things in life and all who share the 'going to deep' in mind, just switch it off and do things. It's not us following wrong values and goals in life 😉 please all stay safe, take care of those who need it and don´t change in this times! greetings from Hockenheim in Germany

Back in 2018, on the friday before week 2 vs Vikings. Two Swedish Packer fans were standing outside Lambeau at 6AM, waiting for the players to arrive for the friday, morning meetings. Most of the players came up to us as we were holding up our Swedish flag. Of course Aaron did and we talked for like a minute. Thanks AR12 for being such a nice dude to us! /Packer Nation, Stockholm, Sweden

@ThatOneGuy 123 you must be a fan of a team that had a few good players that made the QB look good for a few seasons, I am guessing some mediocre team like the Patriots or Saints that rely on 2-3 key players to be the team, make the mediocre QB look good, and screw everyone else on the team.... By comparison, Favre and Rodgers is the reason why the Packers have been to the playoffs almost every single season over the past 3 decades. No other team can say that, because no other team has had the epic people to lead the team for over 3 decades like these 2 men have.

Jontae Grace Not really. He was twisting facts from the Bible and making it look bad, for example the fact that he said only 144,000 people are going to he’s an is competent false and that verse has nothing to do with the amount of people going to heaven.

If only it was just that. Hitchens posited that organized religion is "violent, irrational, intolerant, allied to racism, tribalism, and bigotry, invested in ignorance and hostile to free inquiry, contemptuous of women and coercive toward children" and sectarian, and that accordingly it "ought to have a great deal on its conscience." I agree with Hitchens, religion poisons everything.

Great interview! I can relate to his struggle growing up in Christianity, which in many ways closes you off to the outside world and makes things simple and comfortable, but it's shaken up by a desire to grow and learn in ways that quickly burst the bubble and send you on a daily journey of discovery. We're all on our own unique path, but there's inspiration in hearing from others so thanks for sharing.

Dear Aaron Rodgers- you are amazing. I have no clue my life without you. From 3 years back, when I saw the Packers play in the first time. I saw you. Then I watched your highlights. I remember a day in 6th grade when I was just walking during gym, and my friend says "toss that football to me." I did. He said "nice spiral." Does not seem like a lot, but to me, it did. From then on, I have been an aspiring QB. And the technique I emulate- yours. Aaron I love you bro. You are an inspiration to me and many others. I hope one day, I win a Lombardi Trophy. No matter the franchise I earn it for, I will give it to you. Because any success I have- it's because of you. Your deep thoughts, or quick thinking, or play on and off the field. I wish I can be half the man you are, whether I go to the NFL or not. You have altered my life and whenever I just see your image, I get extremely motivated. The skill and talent you have...wow!!!! I can compare and relate myself to you because I have a similar skill set as you and think the same way as you. I cannot put into words the way I feel about you. But I love you 12. I really do. My idol. My hero. A remote support system. Aaron Charles Rodgers.

After watching this podcast I feel obligated to correct Aaron on the 144,000 he refers to as the only ones who make it to Heaven. That number refers to God's Elect who stood against satan in the first earth age and are pre-ordained by God himself as written in Ephesians Ch.1. Then go to Revelation Ch.7 Vs 1 thru 9. Vs 9 telling you the multitudes that stood before the Throne that no man could number! KJV....With respect... Love your podcast Danica.

Wow, that was a fantastic and insightful interview. Thanks for letting us know the real Aaron. Great job, Danica.

Aaron's much more introspective than I thought. Have always respected him as a player, but he's always seemed to me like he's playing cat and mouse with everyone and doesn't really enjoy the sport. Wish he would open up more but I've changed my opinion of him; seems like a good guy. (And Danica ... would that more women would have attitudes and carry on conversations like this)

They are a complete vibe... so laid back... melancholy.

Yes me too!!!! I pray for Aaron and I want to write him a letter explaining the whole thing on religion and hell. Jesus came into the world to save it not condemn it! Let’s continue praying for him and people who don’t know Jesus yet✝️

I don’t know what denomination of church he attended as a child, but not all churches are as he described. There are some judgmental people in every area of life, but most Christians I know are welcoming of others and are aware that they have their own flaws and are not perfect but they are grateful for the grace and forgiveness that they find through their relationship with Christ. I do hope that when he becomes a parent that he will provide opportunities for his children to experience the love of Jesus and then be able to make their own decisions as they grow and mature.

With all that is going on in their lives today, I think that they really appreciate(d) the other for their differences. Whatever happens, they have both become better people because of each other over the past 2 years. That is what I took away from this.
