Aaron is asking the hard questions most don't care to think about. Most will follow a belief system because that is what everyone else around them is doing. You don't need to preach to others or go to church to believe in a higher power.

Damn straight. If you were born alone on an island I guarantee you would NEVER even once consider some dude named jesus. It's a system, an invention, and an antiquated one at that. Nothing more.
@Xandy2dandY4 жыл бұрын
The "hard" questions all have answers to those seeking the truth. The world ,nowadays, bases truth on what they feel, not on objective reality. Hence why we have many people like Aaron here who don't like the Biblical God even though He does exist and offers eternal life to those who repent and trust in Jesus. It's not about how good we are as people because no one is good. No one is sinless. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory. We are criminals awaiting your sentence at judgment day for violating God's law. That's scary and so many people make a god to suit themselves, a god who doesn't judge sinners. Unfortunately for sinners, the true God is a righteous judge and He will carry out justice. He will punish people like Hitler and Stalin, and all liars, all cheaters, all thieves etc. The sentence will vary according to the crime. The Bible says no one will say God is not just in His final judgement, basically everyone will completely agree with their sentence. Finally, God doesn't WANT to condemn anyone, the Bible says He doesn't want any to perish. But because we commit sin and break His law and just fully disregard Him as our creator who has given us life and all things, then He has no choice but to punish us because He is righteous. He is also loving, hence why 2000 years ago, God entered creation and became a man, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and received the penalty of our sins upon Himself. One thing God requires of us to receive this free unmerited gift of salvation through Jesus is to repent (turn away from sin) and trust in Jesus for the remission of our sin. The Gospel (good news) is that I, a sinner, have been justified by God, even though I deserve hell. Not because I did anything good or am a good person ( I am not and never will be good enough), but because God Himself is merciful and kind and loving beyond what you can imagine. I hope you will seek to know the truth for what it is and not for what makes you feel better. Praying for you.

MrOuchiez that’s not even close to being true, there are many accounts of Muslims and people of other backgrounds growing up having never heard of Jesus, and then they have a an encounter with him. Look up the work of DR Craig keener, he wrote a massive book documenting miracles.

MrOuchiez and to top it off, Christianity wasn’t just some invention. Nearly all scholars, both Christian and non Christian agree that the disciples really believed they had encounters with the resurrected Jesus. You can call the delusional, but you can’t say it’s just some invention. Also remember that all those disciples gave their life preaching the message of the resurrected Jesus

Nor will we know everything in Heaven, either. B/C none of us is the all knowing, Creator God, nor will we ever be. As for skepticism...No. None at all. I know Jesus is the Risen Son of the Living God, who sacrificed His life for me, so I can be w/Him Forever, if I so choose. And I DO choose Him, over any # of man made, False gods out there....in the thousands. I have no doubt in my heart or mind, who He is, or what He did for me & all of mankind. I follow Jesus & His teachings & have been in study w/others who do, for years. I’m not winging it on ignorance or myth, as some do. If someone is making a statement that I know to be false, I will stand up for Jesus & correct it. It’s up to that person whether they want to accept that truth, or not. I can’t force them to, anymore than God will force them to. With today’s society being so distanced from what God’s Word actually says & blurring the lines He draws with the... ‘God is Love & He loves us all, regardless...He’s not vengeful or mean, ... all roads point the same direction toward love & God...’ The total crap of ‘all inclusive’ is almost gag material, from what is the actual reality. The reality IS, there is only 1 way to God & His Perfect Heaven. And that 1 way, is through Jesus, His Perfect Blood Sacrifice for us. Jesus IS The Way, The Truth & The Life (John 14:6) & there is no other. It’s pretty simple & straightforward. Leaves no question in any true believers mind. So if people want to believe something other than that fact, then they will be finding out how wrong they were, as soon as they take their last breath here. B/C their next, will be where they chose for themselves. Stating Biblical facts has nothing to do w/trying to make myself, or anyone else, ‘feel better.’ Maybe you should look into them more yourself, so you will feel more sure about what God says, to all of us. He isn’t going to be all lovey dovey, toward anyone who rejected His Son & Savior, Jesus. He isn’t going to be all lovey dovey, during the soon to come, Tribulation, that will be lasting for 7 horrid years, for anyone who is going through it. He isn’t going to be all lovey dovey, when He once again destroys this fallen world, like He has done before, when sin was out of control all over it. And those are just a few more, Biblical Facts! Ask Him to help you draw near to Him, & give you a desire for His Truth. That’s what He wants most for you. Another fact. Be Blessed w/it.

Christianity isn’t just another religion, in fact it’s not a religion. I can explain that in one sentence. The very God Christians worship being Jesus Christ insulted the religious men of his day and called them serpents. Religion is working your way up to heaven and if you do so many good things then it will outweigh the bad. Logic tells me that one sin will remain a sin until the end of my life and it only took one sin for Adam to be separated from God. An intelligent creator being God would have to be perfect and without faults in order for him to be God in the first place so God cannot allow one sin to be passed by without judgement because that would make him a corrupt God just like our judicial systems today. Now we have a predicament. God gave us free will in order for his creation to truly love him and have relationship with him because if there’s no free will then we are all just robots for God and there’s no love there. Man has a choice to obey God or disobey God and man disobeys God and since then there has not been one perfect man in existence. Notice how Adam has to sacrifice animals in order to cover up his and his wife’s nakedness(a covering for sin). Gods only choice because he loves us is to come down himself in our flesh and live a perfect life in order to be sacrificed just as the animals were. This act of God paid our fine so that in court(Gods judgement of us), any man who is atoned by Christ’s death can be freed from their sentence(hell) and be with God forever. This is not religion, it is logic if you believe that we as humans are evil and we have fallen short of our creator. If you don’t believe there is even a creator, then you don’t believe that good and evil even exist so therefore this whole argument is invalid and that is why Satan incorporated atheism into humanity. It just hardens the hearts of men even more so that God is nothing to them. This message is to the lost and the sick only. If you are living perfectly then you don’t need this message and good luck to you.

When we do not search for the truth this is what happens, we pray that he will get back to the path. Being a christian is not about just a feeling, it's about seeking truth and we found that in the bible when we see the reliability of it's word. Looks by what he said he was playing the religious walk. He was wrong in that what he said of the "choosen" to go to heaven, that is a Jehovah's Witness teaching, not what the bible says, the bible says in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. When he says that how believe in a God that will condemn all of his creation to a fire place, he is also wrong, take a look at 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. I belive that Aaron Rodgers was deceived and got on to the lie of the world. God's word says: Repent(Act 17:30, Romans 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9) and put your trust in Jesus(1 John 3:23) [Giving death to your old self] then the bible say's you shall be born again the way to achieve that is by being baptized(Mathew 28:19) and receiving the Holy Spirit(John 20:21-22) [The new born in Christ]. Cool video, it's refreshing to hear a prominent athlete talk about such an important subject. Just to clarify though, the "144,000 only go heaven" thing Aaron mentioned is a heretical doctrine taught by the Jehovah's Witnesses - a cultic heretical offshoot of Christianity. The worldwide traditional protestant Church of Christ does not accept their teachings and rejects them as part of the 'the Church'. The JW's have their own Bible translation which is altered to fit their wrong version of Jesus and radical interpretation. They also prohibit it's adherents from reading non-JW material and strongly advise against researching on the internet. They also have made several false prophecies over the past 100 years, that they lie about today. If Aaron has a history with the JW's and their form a church and culture I completely understand why Aaron is turned off by religion. Because the JW's are an extremely legalistic oppressive cult. The people are governed with an iron hand in a velvet glove... The cult mandates adherents to commit many hours per week of study, time at the Kingdom Hall, door knocking, and public cart evangelizing... they keep track of some stuff on literal pen and paper to make sure folks are following along. Former JW's characterize their time at a JW as being in a FOG, Fear-Obligation-Guilt.... SO, all of that to say the "144,000" doctrine he mentioned is NOT Christianity, heaven is open to all who seek it through Christ. I suggest Aaron do some more research! He should personally talk with apologists at RZIM. I'm sure many of them would drop what they're doing to talk with Aaron and clear up his questions. Pray that Aaron and JW's hear the true Gospel!

A god could show itself to exist, and it would not negate what you call "free will" As I could still choose whether or not to worship said god, or follow its wishes, etc... There is no science that proves a god. If there was, you could present it and collect your Nobel Prize, as it would be the biggest world changing Discovery ever. ...yet it hasn't happened. Yes there are scientists who believe, this is mostly *despite* all logic and evidence, thanks to something called cognitive dissonance. They try to "prove" their beliefs with biased approach, but their claims have yet to stand up to any scrutiny. Yes there have been former non-believers whom turned to religion. But they almost always do so out of emotional reasons, not out of sound logic or reasoning. Yet there have been plenty of devout who, while looking to defend their beliefs, look for the evidence and reasoning to do so.... Only to find there is none. And so any intellectually honest person would have no choice other than to lack belief in such things.
@LastBastian4 жыл бұрын
@RaggsNation You seem like a nice person, but here are just a few issues I have with your claims: - I was never "angry" at God, just like I was never angry at Santa Claus. I simply deduced they were both made up, once I reached the age of reason. - Some of the most messed up, miserable, and greedy people I know.... Are also the most religious. Where as, I am a non-believer and I consider myself a generally good, honest, happy, and contented person. - You make claim after claim after claim... But you do not back any of these claims up with anything. You acknowledge how many other religions there are, and the followers of those make claims *just like you do.* Why don't you believe them? Why would I believe any of you over the other? ...and no, claiming " because I'm right" means nothing, as you/they *all* say that. - let's just cut to the chase. Does your God exist? Does your God want me to know he exists? Does your God have to ability to demonstrate he exists? If yes to all these, then he would do that. He could and would do it right now and prove you right. ....but he doesn't. So, either he doesn't care. He doesn't have the ability. Or... He simply doesn't exist. And again, I think you misunderstand what I said about free will. A god could demonstrate itself to exist. It could show itself for all to see... And this would *NOT* negate or infringe on ones free will. Again, knowing a particular god exists, does not mean I would worship it, or agree/follow its wishes. You end with Pascal's Wager. This is a terrible fallacious argument for belief in god. You should look into it. But the basic is: I can't *choose* to actually believe something I don't. I'm either convinced enough or not. So I could only pretend to believe, and an all powerful God would know I was pretending right? Also, what if you are worshipping the wrong God, and by doing so, you are only making the real God more angry? What if god values qualities like logic, reason, and intellectual honestly over blind faith, etc....

I am proud to have Aaron as my QB. He's been a gift to my Green Bay Packers. I can relate to what he was talking about being raised in a church and some of the things I experienced were similar. However, he missed the boat on a few things. The 144,000 in Revelation 14 were referring to 144,000 Jewish men who are suppose to evangelize to the lost people during the 7 year Tribulation period in the future. Anyone can be saved and go to Heaven if they choose to. It's a free gift by grace through faith in believing the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It's really a matter of humbling yourself to realize that a person needs Jesus to go to Heaven, not by what a person does to earn Heaven. I understand where Aaron is coming from and some things from his church were probably misunderstood and now he wants to find truth outside of whichever denomination he was associated with. I respect Aaron's decisions on what he wants to do as far as seeking the truth

Our friend here points and trends instead to the righteousness, redemption and eternal love of Jesus the Savior. That is the true gospel of salvation to all who believe and accept it freely. I’m with you, Aaron. Went to Sunday School, also church, Young Life weekly. In my opinion, I now believe many organized religious Christian groups seem to have many hypocrites/hypocritical words and actions. My family members are part of the hypocrisy. I believe in what is revealed in the the book “Earth School 101”. Accounts from people who are physically dead and then come back to life ... most say they had a life review while they were dead; as felt how their actions and words affected each person they meet as well as the ripple effect to each person’s life. That’s the part that is not linear at all. God does not judge. He is only love.
@jake58114 жыл бұрын
CA AbdBAK----God is not merely a God of love, but also a God of Justice. And justice requires that we must all accept the ramifications of our sinful actions. The ultimate command from our Creator and His Son is to 'love one another'. If we all abided by this command there would be absolutely no need for any other commandment or law. We would all be selflessly looking out for one another. It's not complicated but it can be challenging to follow this command.
@crimsonstreams4 жыл бұрын

If I'm hearing him right, he's basically saying "The God of the Christian Bible condemns most people to hell, I don't want to believe in that kind of God, so I stopped being a Christian." My problem with that is that it doesn't matter how we feel about ideas; it matters whether they are true. If I read that conditions in North Korea are horrible, I don't want to believe that is true, either. But if it's true, it's true, no matter how sad it is. People are too quick to accept or dismiss things based on whether they like the ideas. They need to assess whether they are true and deal with it emotionally afterwards.

Bless his heart. Aaron has a fundamental misunderstanding of the Bible. 144,000 is not the number of Christians that will be saved & is referring to 12,000 "servants of the prophets" each from the 12 tribes of Israel. The rest of Revelations refers to the "great multitude standing before the throne & before the lamb" which is beyond the 144,000. (Revelations 7) God loves everyone and desires that everyone be saved & none should perish. (2 Peter 3:9) The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love (Psalm 103:8)

So it's Him you should engage. Don't let fallible humans be your Jesus.

@@CoreyFuneral I actually left after reading the Bible so.... Lol maybe try reading it. It's hot garbage. And Jesus was the most immoral character in the whole book (devil included) for bringing about the idea of infinite punishment for finite crime with no reason for the torture but the pain. You should read the book. Also I don't think sin is a thing as it is dependant on a god. For Atheist it's about morality. Which is dependant on an understanding of human well being and the universe we find ourselves in. Which means it is constantly improving. But most of all a god just does not make any logical sense. We have no evidence, proof, valid argument, or good reasoning to believe one even exists so.... I don't. So do you have any evidence? Because if not I do understand and appreciate (to a degree) your response, but it is entirely without good argument as I have read the book and found it and it's message of, "carblanc" morals (so long as you like your god's kid) entirely wanting.
@CoreyFuneral4 жыл бұрын
@@49perfectss what makes you think your crimes are finite? Regarding morality - it seems to me there is no objective morality if God does not exist. In fact there is a philosophical deductive argument for the existence of God based on morality. It goes like this: 1. If God does not exist then objective moral values and duties do not exist. 2. Objective moral values and duties do exist. 3. Therefore, God exists. If premise 1 and 2 are true then the conclusion logically and inescapably follows. Therefore with which premise do you disagree with? "Improving" morality is an epistemological endeavor as we progress and come to an understanding of what is good and right. But the "basis" or "grounding" for morality does not exist if atheism is true. Unless you can offer the grounding. And I'm very interested in hearing your basis for morality. There is plenty of evidence for God. Such as the argument I just shared regarding morality. But I imagine by evidence you mean scientific proof. Which is called scientism and is a self defeating claim. There are many questions science cannot answer. So one cannot conclude all truth by science and one who dismisses evidence beside empirical proof just does not understand how evidence works. Therefore, I encourage you to delve into these matters more and seek out the plethora of arguments that are available for the existence of God if you're stuck in an intellectual rut regarding theism and the existence of God. I'm not talking about the bible. I'm talking about intellectual arguments. A discussion regarding the bible can take place later. Best to you.
@49perfectss4 жыл бұрын
@@CoreyFuneral crime is finite because you evidentially die. Meaning you can't commit anything after that. Even Hitler's crimes were finite. And yes I know I just failed the Gershwins law lol. And yes I believe if Hitler is still in hell (specifically if it's the Catholic version that every second is a subjective 1,000 years of literally pure torture that you can't even fathom) that he has suffered more than enough. Like WAY more. Because at that point he has been torn apart and raped and burned and turned inside out, and invaded by butt spiders (the good place is a great show) and I don't even know what for the last 3,153,600,000,000 YEARS! What the fuck is moral about torturing someone for 3 QUADRILLION YEARS without even a chance for redemption? Especially when you acknowledge that there are A LOT of very good people in hell according to your religion.that are burning for longer. I would just say to annihilate people like him after death as torture for tortures sake is entirely immoral. Like your Jesus for introducing the idea. Before him the afterlife was called Shiol (spelling?) And was described as resting with your fathers. Like a deep sleep. I don't believe objective morality exists. So the first premiss needs addressing. Can you provide evidence it does? If not that claim in your premiss is dismissed along with the rest of the argument. I think we can agree on what we mean by morality and go from there but nothing in the universe means we have to choose to be moral. It's just something every social species does to varying degrees. Considering how many priests and pastors (to say nothing of how you are represented in US prison populations) don't seem to care about your gods judgement or commands (your version of morality) your side has the same issue of not having an objective and undeniable foundation. Which is a good thing because your god (who changes entirely between the old and new testament) condones slavery and forcing a woman to marry her rapist. Or be stoned if she didn't scream loud enough. Gross. You should read that book. Is pretty obvious you haven't yet. Which shows how much stock you put in it lol. I would suggest a different way of saying, "if atheism is correct" as atheism makes no claims. It is just a rejection if the theist claim. If you are taking to an anti-theist that would change though. My foundation for morality is human well being. As is yours. Because you don't believe we should own people or that wearing clothes made from two different threads is a sin like Leviticus 19:19 says. And remember the Bible says all sin is equal so you wearing a polycloth blend would be the same as you killing your mother. Because the Bible is utterly ridiculous. Asking for evidence is not "scientism" it is just asking if you can prove your claim had any merit. You trying to dodge giving evidence just tells me you have none so thanks for capitulating that question. You have no evidence at all. That's literally the only message you got through there 😉 If I said there was a god eater that consumed your god and crapped him out as our universe and you asked for evidence would you be satisfied if I said you are just using "scientism"? I doubt it lol. So I am making that claim now. Don't ask for evidence! That's just scientism hahaha. There are many things that science HAS NOT answered I'll agree. But to say that science CAN NOT answer them is nothing but an astounding amount of arrogance. It suggests you know what we will find out in the future. Which is...... Not true lol. We find new areas of science all the time! Dodging providing evidence is the actual self defeating position buddy. And I didn't ask for imperial proof. I asked for evidence. And described what that is. Which you just admitted (taking the long way around) that you have none. Which is the atheist position so thanks for showing that we have a very valid claim there. Lastly I have had MANY intellectual conversations on the arguments for god. Know what happened? They all failed. Three turned to atheism hahaha (I laugh but I also remember them fondly as they were honest). So do you have a valid argument? I just dismissed your argument from morality as I do not agree that moral values exist outside sentient judgement. And there is not a link between objective morality and a god until you can show one. The second premiss was a claim you didn't prove either. So..... Can you provide either a way that morality is what you claim it is, or another argument that is valid? Because I have been doing this for over a decade and have not got a single one. If I had I would be a theist. See how that works?

@@49perfectss I think survivors of the Holocaust might disagree with you regarding the finiteness of crimes. I think survivors of family members who have been murdered might disagree with you regarding the finiteness of crimes. The act is finite but the repercussions are perpetual and eternal. Because we have violated the moral essence of God who said, "you shall not murder." Hence, we need Jesus. Regarding Hitler being in hell that topic is utterly irrelevant to whether or not God exists. Because there is debate even within Christendom as to whether or not hell is a literal fire where people are tormented eternally in physical pain or whether all the hellfire and anguish we read about in the bible is metaphorical. The letter from Paul, Silas, and Timothy in 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9 explains, "He will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power." It mentions "eternal destruction." It does not seem that destroying something means it's standing in fire for eternity. Nonetheless, again, it's up for debate and has no bearing on the existence of God. ( And as an aside, not to be petty, but the law you cited about mentioning Hitler is Godwin's law ).

I am encouraged by much of what Aaron had to say here. It's remarkably similar to the conversation Jesus had with Nicodemus(and other Jewish leaders he encountered). Nicodemus was a prominent leader in the Jewish faith tradition. That tradition stressed burdensome rules and regulations, thousands of them, social standing, appearances or superficialities rather than substance, hierarchy and politics. Jesus was patient with blatant sinners and those ignorant of Him but he regularly condemned the Jewish faith tradition, particularly the self-righteous Pharisees. Jesus went on to explain the process of salvation, which He clarified and expounded upon through Paul. I see a great deal of selflessness in Aaron, and honesty, kindness, and self-control. I had never heard Aaron or Danica speak but I am encouraged by the behavior of both and their willingness to discuss a critically important, really the most important, topic in the human experience. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, because the memory of them is forgotten. Their love, their hate, and their envy have already vanished, and they will never again have a share in all that is done under the sun.…" The dead are not tormented in an eternal fire. To finish my thought about what happens at death, it is interesting to note what Jesus said when his friend Lazarus died at John chapter 11: "After he had said this, he went on to tell them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up.” His disciples replied, “Lord, if he sleeps, he will get better.” Jesus had been speaking of his death, but his disciples thought he meant natural sleep. So then he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead, and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.” So, here Jesus clearly shows that we go to sleep in death and this goes along with what Solomon said about the condition of the dead. Jesus spoke many times about the resurrection. It was what he taught and what the early Christians believed. They believed that those in the grave would live again. Jesus said a John 5: 28, 29: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and come out" . . So, people do not burn in hellfire.

@Cameron Grant yes, they do. And Jesus warned that Christianity would do the same thing after his death. He was right. It really started to go that way with Constantine who mixed paganism with Christianity which started the modern type of "Christianity" we have today which is quite different than the original teachings.

I do identify as a Christian, but I can totally identify with Rodgers on a lot of his points. The most important part of my spirituality is my relationship with God, and I believe in a God that loves the whole world unconditionally. Some people may think that religion is a crutch for many people, but for me it is the backbone of my morality and character. In the end, I want to live a life I can look back on and be proud of, even if it means making certain lifestyle choices the rest of the world may not agree with (waiting for marriage, just not being a dick to others in general, etc...) I sure as f*ck ain't perfect, life has thrown more than its fair share of bricks at me, but those hard times have only served to solidify my faith even more. I like what Aaron said earlier in the video, in the end it isn't about religion, it is about a relationship, a relationship between you and Jesus.

AniMaL what if someone else acknowledges that they’re not perfect just like you, but that they want a life full of love and improvement and relationships, only Jesus isn’t included in any of those relationships? If this was the case do you truly believe they will be tortured forever? Despite all of the great things about faith and fellowship, at a certain point I realized it was impossible for me to reconcile the idea of a completely loving God with the concept of eternal damnation for finite crimes, the absolute antithesis of love and justice.

Wow. Danica, this candid, at home "chat" type interview is really cool. I've been a Packer fan all my life. I post comments on the Packers web site quite often. But I'd like to point out that since this video was about religion, you forgot to ask Aaron the most important question: "What do you believe happens to you after you die?" I'd like to hear a non-binary take on that one. Anyway, thanks for this enjoyable moment. Isn't the Internet great? God bless both of you, and have a great new year. The truth really is out there, for those who seek it.

Why does it matter what happens after you die? Really, like what difference does it make? You have fear of hell? Bah, what a joke. So thankful that I deconverted from a denomination that didn't focus on fire and brimstone. What a disgusting way to keep people in the fold. Scare the crap out of them. yuck.

@@PatriotForThePlanet Well, obviously it made a difference to YOU...you had to post your comment, which, by the way, reeks of insecurity. Like, you have to keep trying to convince yourself that it's better to pretend that the afterlife doesn't exist by focusing only on the "negative" side. There are so many real life experiences of both the good and the bad -- many of which are right here on KZfaq -- that to call it all a "joke" is either intentional ignorance, or fear of realizing the truth. But hey, that's your choice.

@@richardmazzara6242 hahahahahaaaa! Thank for the chuckle. IDGAF if there is an afterlife, so don't waste my time convincing myself of anything. I am solidly content with the fact that this life on earth is what we get. I don't need the security blanket of a supposed god to help me be unafraid of death. My heart and brain will stop functioning and then my body will decay and again become part of the carbon cycle, as dying organisms have for 4 billion years. It is actually quite beautiful, no need to fear it. But please, show me the "real life experiences" of people going to hell...

@@PatriotForThePlanet OK, here's a few: Dr. Maurice Rawlings hosted this "To Hell and Back" documentary. He was an atheist until he experienced these events first-hand. Some of his patients were clinically dead for a short while (less than four minutes) and were resuscitated. They all continued to share their stories, as their lives were never the same: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bJpnpcSUpqzbhGQ.html Mary K. Baxter was given visions of both heaven and hell (she is still alive and travels the world): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i79xic6ms9GcoIk.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rqeTbLd5vNq1lYU.html Bill Weise (also still alive and active) was in hell for what later appeared to be 23 "earth" minutes....but of course, time is relative: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bZp3i653rZqqeHk.html There are many, many more out there, for those who want to know. I agree that when you die, your brain ceases to function and the body decays....but those material elements are not your "soul" -- or "personality" if you will -- the "consciousness" part of you that makes choices and decisions. Don't you wonder, at least sometimes, about such things? But hey, thanks for asking! Chat more later....maybe.

And yet another win for Aaron, my whole life I grew up in church and as I got older watching him dominate the NFC all this decade I grew to like football more than church. People can say I'm going to hell for that or that I'm going to hell for my sons but at the end of the day it's a man made religion for people to feel self-righteous. as long as we do right by each other and spread love and not hate I don't think father God will punish us for eternity

"The organized church communicates Christ, while it exists."... Henry David Thoreau...

Fake.
@dallasmcquarrie19374 жыл бұрын
There is no one, monolithic 'organized church.' Most American evangelicals support a President who opposes darn near everything Jesus said and did, while other churches reject the President. The Catholic Church is led by a Pope who proclaims climate change as an existential threat to the planet, while many other churches calling themselves 'Christian' take the opposite view. Similarly, there are a multiplicity of Christologies and theologies that reduce the simplistic notion of an 'organized church [that] communicates Christ' to rubbish. The notion that there is one organized church that speaks for Christians is a delusion.

Correction... AI often overrides forcing the human to become the algorithms editor. The Thoreau quote states that any and or all organized religions "excommunicate" not communicate. I chose this quote because the great American poet, who inspired Martin Luther King and Ghandi, is in essential agreement with what Aaron Rodgers is saying here.
