He's not going to have a catastrophic injury again, and in the insanely small chance he does, he will still be back next season. If he comes back and succeeds enough to prove this offense isn't total garbage, it's worth it to restore confidence in the direction of the team. There is literally zero downside to him coming back imo.

Every GM has misses obviously. Gutey has drafted well…if you can’t see that, you’re clearly just parroting the narrative that Rodgers paints-and that Pat buys hook, line, and sinker. FYI the same Packers fans that are mad about Gutey moving on from Rodgers, are the same ones that called for Thompson to be fired when he moved on from Favre. I’m a Packers fan so I want the Packers to win a chip every year-I don’t care about other teams. I didn’t care if Favre won a SB with the Vikings, and I don’t care if Rodgers does (I just hope he stays healthy).

Here's the problem with Rodgers and Pat. Since Rodgers pretty much got Pat his big payday on ESPN and since Pat is paying Rodgers to come on his show every week, he's never going to ask Rodgers the hard questions. "Should Lazard remain on the team?" "Should Cobb remain on the team?" "Should Hackett remain on the team?" These are all Rodgers' boys, so the Jets are stuck with them because they're stuck with Rodgers. This whole experiment went in the dumpster the minute Rodgers got hurt, and it's not fixable. The entire O line is inept with the only real talent being AVT, a guy who can't stay healthy. They gave up all sorts of draft capital that they could have used to rebuild the O line and draft yet another quarterback. Even if Rodgers comes back healthy next year and we make the playoffs, what then? I mean, big deal, we made the playoffs. With what they had to give up and what they had to pay players who suck (Lazard), as soon as the attention-seeking diva retires after 2024, the Jets are right back to where we were before only worse. No proven quarterback, a rag tag O line, and a LOT of contracts that will be coming due to players who will expect big paydays. Can't keep them all, so then pieces start to fall away. The fact that they kept Zach Wilson and hired Hackett is what doomed us primarily. Those two things will come back to haunt us for the next 5 years.

I just started watching this show this week which is absolutely great, hilarious and entertaining. I always liked Aaron Rodgers and was sorry to see him get hurt. But kiss my butt, when he gets to talking he can bore the tits off a bull. Also he does it amongst some of the funniest group of guys...... I see why he calls the show every week. Most folks in his life probably get tired of his boring stories and tone of voice.
