There are a decent number of brands doing this now, some with better cameras than others, but this S340 has the best charging ability I've seen so far. Very impressed.

Good evening I have bought this solar camera and after three months it stopped charging the solar panel. A lot of people have the same problem and have bought this particular camera. I will buy another panel it is a shame because it is an expensive camera to create problems so early. And imagine I live in the country that has bright light and a long summer than all the countries of Europe, Greece.

Regarding motion detection, will it detect objects coming at it from any direction (360º), then point the camera at them? Or do they need to be within the camera's 135º field of view for the camera to start tracking them?

That was one of my problems with this camera: only one motion sensor to manage 360 coverage?

Hmmm.. can you tilt* the camera up when zoomed in 3x? Also the controls looked really unresponsive.

Being unable to view anywhere on a zoomed image was one of my negatives. And yup, the controls aren't exactly real-time partly due to control via Wi-Fi.

Hi, I'm also using this S340 solocam for a few weeks now. It's working is fine, but I think the solar panel is not working suffient because my battery looks like its draining (below 75% now and no signs of charging in the dashboard whatsoever). My setup is just like yours with the panel in early morning sunlight, the power source is external solar panel. Got some insights for me to possibly solve my power problem? [PS: when I set the power source to battery, what is the use of the solar panel right then? Does it charge the battery or somethink like that?]

I am currently in the market for this camera right now. I do not own one just yet. But maybe adjust your solar panel to noon sunlight instead. That is the best light that one would get.
