The NEW Drumming System 2.0 - DrummingSystem.com
.
In this video, I show you a variation of a pattern that Mike Michalkow just showed me during a recent lesson. I loved it so much I had to quickly learn it and pass it on to you. The pattern is called an Abakwa (also known as Abakuá). It was a pattern played by a secret society that originated in Nigeria. I know I am no Abakwa master, but hopefully I explained it good enough for you to learn the basics and go crazy with it. Enjoy! - Jared Falk

MY BRAIN JUST EXPLODED.. I am definitely not an advanced drummer so this was a little out of my league with the independence and what not.. but another incredible video just the same.

great job as always Jared. Always trying to convince myself that tackling everything you do very slowly at first does work. when I start out, I say to myself, "man this is going to be a long haul". Within 30-60min, I'm 3/4 of the way there. Slow but brain and hands are saying "hey this isn;t so bad" (well, yet LOL).

Great video! Curious to know though, it seems that you have a different kit everytime I see a video by you. How many kits do you own and which ones? Keep up the killer work!

Mindfuck groove. I would probably try to learn it feet and left hand first cause they play in sync and then add the right hand on top of that. It's still not easy but I would think it would be easier. But whatever works is the best.
