Hi explorers, I am only going to say that this home has absolutely everything left behind by a family who had lived here a long time and most likely have passed away.
They lived, they loved, they raised children and they grew old....
The home is probably a deceased estate........
We live our lives then we pass away in to the next realm but our physical possessions remain gathered.

Someone sent me a link for a salvager in Alberta, Canada. He bought the contents of a woman’s house that was stacked to the ceiling with stuff. She lived in her parents house, so there was their stuff, and her stuff. He paid 10,000 for the contents. He sold the clothing, shoes, hats, gloves for 10,000.00 (and conceded the guy who bought the clothes would make more than that). He made 400,000.00 at auction. But I thought the very same thing as you! This was a woman’s family home, that was once filled with joy. Yet at the end, no one wanted it (or perhaps wanted to wade through four stories of stuff) and off to auction it went. Thankfully, there are people who will help go through and get rid of things; but it’s sad just the same.

Such a sad home, and even more sad when it's obviously seen much love in it over the years. The ransacking of the belongings brings back a bad memory for me when my mom died. One of my sisters went over to mom's house a few short hours after after she got the news. She brought 3 of her grown children with her and they were already busily removing items from the home when I arrived. They weren't exactly careful about it either. Drawers emptied and contents flung wherever. I was the executor for the estate and had to make them put it all back. The locks got changed that very day. It still makes me nauseous when I think of that time. Death can bring out the very worst in people.

Drowned Rat funny you mention this as the back door was not damaged in anyway as if it were opened either with the key or it was left unlocked. Judging by the security screens on every door and window I highly doubt the back door was just left unlocked.......So did relatives pay it a visit ? @@urbexindigo5164 thats exactly what I thought too, family was the ones that rummaged through it all, just looking for anything of worth. Sadly in our generation now, so few care about pictures and sentimental items, and even useful items that could be recycled. To think that some cruel heartless person has forced their way in and ransacked all through those precious possessions without any thought should be ashamed and they would know who they are. Such a shame to see so much disregard by whoever busted in there and ransacked the place. If there is any silver lining at least they did not smash things up in there. So heartbreaking... I get such a sad vibe from this home, even though so many family photos, there's a loneliness that comes across. I'm guessing she was widowed. Enjoyed gardening, outings on the water, had a strong faith, and cherished the family moments. Hopefully the property gets sorted soon by the remaining family before things are destroyed by careless vandals. Thanks for sharing, and being respectful as always to the previous owners. This is so very sad. If that was my house, and my immediate family left it, I would not mind if someone took the furniture home to use. I would rather someone love the items and use them instead of being left to rot. No one I know lives in a house that is trashed. I just cannot understand why any person has to do this to someone's home. I would write down the name of the people that lived there, the address, and then try to locate a relative. If that did not work; I would then contact a local real estate company and explain what I was trying to do. This would be another job; work out something with the real estate agent and together get these places taken care of. The family might not be aware of the abandoned home; once contacted I would then offer to clean up and organize and list all items. This will give the family a chance to keep heirlooms or keepsakes; after that hold a sale for the family. I just hate that these homes are left to decay as if they never mattered. I do hope you guys are closing the doors behind you when you leave. Looks like I created a lot of work for you to take on. When my mother in law from Brisbane passed away, my sister-in-law went through and sorted her things. The Christian art looked Catholic for the most part. (That plate in the living room with the picture of Jesus on it looked more Protestant, though.) The art definitely did not look like Orthodox iconography. The religious art in the first couple of rooms Paul explored looked Buddhist, though. I didn't slow the video down to look carefully at the family photographs (maybe I should have), but some of the people in the photos looked Asian, while others looked white. It raises a lot of questions--a mixed race family perhaps? or perhaps a live-in Asian caregiver? Not that it's all that important to me, but things like that just pique my curiosity. That full-wall picture of the mountains and the lakes make me wonder if that's the homeland of the Asians. The Himalayas, perhaps?

How very sad. With all the pictures there must be family left. I prefer to think that they are unable to travel there at this time and not that no one cares about any of the pictures and memorabilia in that house. I would guess it was a widow who was living there alone, maybe with a caregiver coming in periodically. Odd that someone would break in and go through things yet leave the TV and things in the living room. Probably only looking for small items they could easily conceal and perhaps drugs. I cannot understand why neighbours don't keep an eye out on the property. In the city where I live (in a third world country) we watch out for our neighbours. A friend of mine passed away last year December and I was worried about her house and possessions ( we do not stay in the same neighbourhood) her next door neighbours are looking after the house to ensure there is no damage to the house. Grass is kept short and the security company is still protecting the property. If this can be done in a third world country why not in a first world country? . So sad to see how thieving scum of the earth can just go into a property and take what they want.

Seems like the people who lived there were part of a large italian family, they lived a full and busy family life even though the house is not that big, they traveled a lot too. I feel like at some point the family grew apart and the elderly couple who raised them spent their old years there until just one of them remained and that was it. So many photos and memories left behind, some people can be so careless and selfish, maybe at least one of them really wanted to sort things out but wanted to avoid drama with the rest of the family, just creating a scenario out of this very saddening exploration. It really makes you reflect on your own life too, thanks for sharing.

Kim Fitzgerald.....sometimes it takes years to find just one living relative that has a legal claim. Unsolved Mysteries had an episode about an estate in Oregon that had been left like this, so the state had the task of going through EVERYTHING to try to find someone. The woman was a widow and after husband died she just became a " hermit" more or less and she died leaving un cashed social security checks just lying on a mantel, it took a long time but one person saw the episode and came forth and was entitled to a certain amount and I dont know what happened after the updated episode with the one which was like a first cousin I think.. .SAD JUST SAD

Usually when Paul adds a new video, I'm one of the first to check it out. But not this time. I watched it and read each and every comment and reply, everyone's. Then I watched it again. For some reason this was the most uncomfortable video I've ever watched and have no idea why but to me it looks like someone, family, maybe not, obviously went through it all without much care for the house and or the contents. This isn't the typical vacant place soon to be knocked down scenario but may be a debate as to what the end results will be. Perhaps the survivors are trying to figure out what to do next. I just hope it doesn't get demolished.

The cabinet does look expensive. It's not just a old lady style I'm sure a lot of young women would love to have it. The old lady might be alive and in a old folks home. Maybe her relatives leave the stuff there because it would be expensive to pay for a storage building. But if the wrong person discovered the house it would end up thrashed and stolen. Either way old people suffer a lot towards the end of their lives. Some day that will be us. Thank you for the interesting video.

5.42 I thought I heard a whispered voice..might have been a bird,, but was a bit spooky. When you first went up the path around to where the out door swing is, I felt so emotional and I think a little old lady lived there, with her pot plants. It made me feel really sad. And at 5.56, glass or metal clinking or rattling, seems to be outside the backdoor. All those family photos put up on the walls with love... it's like a museum...even the ducks on the walls. Broke my heart a bit to think all this was someones pride and joy and treasure. That amazing crystal cabinet like my nanna had. That amazing furniture in the bedrooms...omg... in beautiful condition.

Guessing a widow lived there many years, the photo of what is likely to be her late husband by the front door is sweet. What I find most strange is that the only rooms that look like they've been ransacked are her bedroom and the kitchen, as if someone (family?) was looking for something? A few rooms looked simply like hoarding and the front den looked a bit messy but fine (which surprised me, you'd think vandals would have destroyed that room, specially the bar cabinet). The lack of calendars anywhere is a tad unusual. Interestingly, my grandparents had the same appliqué mirrors with golden patterns in them at 11:05
