A milk seperat and the ute would only have had 50 thousand mile because when they hit 100 thousand, they all went back to zero .

I wonder what that spare room that you referred to as the mud room was? A mud room is the first room as you enter to take off any wet and muddy shoes and clothing from outside and this room was after the kitchen, between the bathroom. I think it was more of a general storage area, maybe a pantry. Loved the sheep in the background and the opening drone shot! 🌟

That's milking equipment for dairy cattle, it looks like a 4 stand, much more than home use so it's a commercial operation. Why milk cows there I don't know, is it in the Mallee? Maybe they milked sheep...... It's '50s or '60s by the look of it and might have been electric, the motor has been removed. Initially it probably had a IC motor.

how do you find these places that are abandoned
@kenem19465 сағат бұрын
Thanks, Paul. Always enjoy your videos but sadly no tractors or farm vehicles to be seen ☺They certainly cleared the place of any equipment. I did wonder if you had gained your helicopter licence but realised you were being clever with the drone and dubbing. 😄

Weird that probs occupied in the 1990s and still no plumbing , that's just really odd , water tank on verandah makes sense for quick water access but no toilet !!!

The drone intro and music brings you into the video thats great. Brings good perspective. One lovely stone home yet still in great nic. They would have farmed not just sheep but grain and cows maybe too.

Live bees?! I haven't seen one in 3 years, gov unalived em all in my area, they're still doing it. Have to hand pollinate or rely on native bees, which are nowhere near as good for the job.

Another fantastic explore, especially with the sleeping bees, lol. Thank you so much. I would absolutely live there- I keep telling you, if I could get my dogs over there, I'd be there in a month. Do they ever sell those farmhouses? Just those pieces of land with the houses and access to them on it? And how much do you think one would be, in US dollars? Anyway, thank you again. Please do an update video on you and the cats- have good weekend!--SDK

Why all the tin for building, Especially for the main house? It had to be very hot for the summer & cold for the winter
@frankintx6999 сағат бұрын
After seeing many homes and farms in Australia covered in metal it was the best and easiest material to get for construction and they adapted it as a part of the cultural style. It also holds up to their extreme weather condition.
@kathyscheiman27156 сағат бұрын
@@frankintx699 but it’s not got for Sun as I think it would keep the heat & make it very hot inside& the opposite in the winter

22:56 You could be right about spraying sheep but I've a feelin this may actually be a vacuum pump, it's is NOT a generator. Next to it, May be a milk collection reservoir for milking cows in the other area off to the right. I say all this ONLY because If you pause and zoom at 23:34, the pressure gauge there says "Southern Cross Milking Machines" on it's face. Also, this yank would like to know, do sheep have to be milked? Were sheep milked there as opposed to cows? 🤔 Ok, now I'm lost. Oh well... Thanks for the tour Paul! Stayin tuned! 👍🤠

You should carry gloves with you and masks. Just in case you want to touch something with bird poop on. A mask would be good for you, so you wouldn't get bird poop dust in your lungs. You mean to tell me you don't want to eat old peanuts 🤣🤣🤮
@obscurecelebrityКүн бұрын
The layout seems quite weird, you have the original area of four rooms, then in the newer add on, that front room didn’t connect to the rest of the house (only an outside door). Then the back of the add on had a hallway (why a hallway with only one room opening off it?) with only one door going to the add on back room which didn’t connect via an inside door to any of the other rooms. Make me think maybe there was several generations living there?
