Abandoned CampSite - Angeles National Forest

Todays journey is in the Angeles National Forest. This seems to be an Abandoned camp site. I explored multipliable locations all really close to each other. One site I visit was an handicapped panic area. Stay to the end of the video to check out my pics. This is part of series of Angeles National Forest playlist that I am currently working on.
Abandoned locations can be quite dangerous. So it is my advisement to never put your life at risk. I personally take every precaution necessary to avoid unsafe conditions, and I do this happily for my viewers.At no point have I ever vandalized or defaced any property that I have visited. Nick. I wish you and your channel had been around in 1999 at the time of the famous Mojave phone booth off of Cima Rd. off Interstate 15. There was an article about it in the LA Times and on the way to Vegas, my buddy and I called it and we finally got a ring and someone answered. There's still primitive websites dedicated to it. You should check out the history on it. Some very cool stuff. Unfortunately the Bureau of Land Management removed the phone. 🙄

The Angeles National Forest definitely has some interesting things going on in it, that's for sure. I'm currently visiting friends in Quartz Hill and will be heading back home to Pasadena tomorrow, through those canyons. Do you know the story to the RV that's 16 miles from Sierra Hwy. on Angeles Forest Highway? I always think about that thing when I drive by. It's been there for years.

I work for the Angels National Forest, i believe that was a day use area back in the day, the building was an old restroom.

I live 10 mins from this abandoned spot! Under the bridge used to be a pond and had tons of coy fish in it

Nice! It’s been awhile since I’ve been there. I actually don’t know to many places in the Av. People are always telling me there are a lot of spots to check out. I know for sure there is two or 3 other places out there in Lake LA. But I don’t know the streets. Sorry bro

Hey, was there a white Ford Expedition parked back under the tree in the very back of the picnic grounds at the upper parking area? I shot a video there about a month ago and it was hidden under a bunch of branches.

Dude! There was! I flew my drone over it like 3 times. Not going to lie I was a little creeped out about it. Told myself I’d go back in a week or two and see if it’s still there.

I don't agree with your philosophy of keeping these places secret. The landscape is changing all the time and people should have the chance to visit if they want. If you don't want to share, fine. But you said you censor comments of people talking about it? That's not cool imo

Also not trying to give attitude. I respect what you do on your channel. I just mention this because there was another channel visiting abandoned mansions and they refused to share locations. Those mansions ended up being demolished by the city anyways and developers came in. Now no one gets to see them. Just something to consider.
