I said I would like Nikki to forget about the people who left her so that she can stop looking for them and enjoy a new life as much as possible. @@dirkdiggler7317 No. You are. Many people fled with their animals. The Poles were/are prepared for their arrival. They have veterinarians, pet food, supplies, everything waiting. Who would leave their pets? Where are the other millions of Ukrainians? Just like this wonderful woman. Most havent left! The English didnt take off when they were bombed either.

@@sequoiapark4506 yes..I saw(TV) where there are people at Polish border providing help/care for pets. Also help via other countries animal charities, as a lot of people refuse to leave without pets. We, who do not experience this situation, need to be compassionate and do what we can...without judgement for anyone... emotions are high ...everywhere. I 😢 for all victims of this senseless atrocity..esp the animals and children. ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇦🇺🥺

Anyone who leaves their pet behind is not a good person, no matter how broke or whatever the situation, that's just something anyone with compassion or empathy would do.

I don't think it's evil. Many refugees from Ukraine can't bring their pets. They can barely bring enough of their belongings.

@@yo2trader539 I'd choose a living thing over a belonging, surely a small dog wasn't too difficult to put a lead on & give a chance of safety to. Why would anyone want a pet then not try to save it, so many carried big dogs, cat carriers & cats on harnesses to keep them with their human families, even bird cages. It's so distressing as the videos of few years ago when Ukrainian soldiers took care of abandoned animals is being repeated, but when war ends who provides for the animals. Human's are responsible for the living creatures they look after, to abandon even in dire circumstances must be very distressing. Olena is a special lady whose heart is so kind & caring, pray she will be protected as she goes around feeding so many dogs & cats.

Wow those Ukrainian family are evil. Even the Russian army soldiers had been spotted taking in stray dogs as pets. Sad when the Russian soldiers show more respect for pets than the Ukrainians.

So please do not even mention those monsters and what they do in Ukraine! I know this because it is happening in my town, I was lucky enough to escape and my pets are also safe and sound.

I'm an American living two blocks from my states Capitol. I had to fend of a rapist in the Capitol Park in the afternoon with others around. There was a gang war in the alley my apartment faces with two people shot dead under my balcony. *So I'd like to know where this Nirvana is that you speak of*

Where and how can we send money?

As sad as I feel for these animals left behind, most if these people were left with awful choices. Either stay and risk their whole family being killed because they couldn’t bring the dogs with them, or leave them behind. I’m not angry at the owners, I’m angry at the man who forced these people to make these horrible decisions. It’s not as simple as when you lose your house to a fire and you can move in with family or rent a place, their whole country is under attack.

@@pinkrainclouds2190 yes, partially agree and there might have been few extreme cases - but one - the attack was easy to predict and get ready, two - Poland is very welcoming to accomodate people with pets too. Its heartbreaking and of course main couse is that evil psycho!
