The FC has had really blown out stock suspension on it the whole time we've had it together. So it was definitely time for an upgrade! New BC Racing Coilovers, Wheels off my Z and some other fun projects along the way.

Those wheels are reverse mount. That's why the tires were so hard to remove and replace. The face goes down on the tire machine. If in fact you had them that way then my apologies

If you look at 18:13 you can see the drop center is at the top. Having changed a set like that before. It just is a crappy design to change.

nope it's becaues the old tire is streched on the rim (tire to narrow to fill in the hump ,that eliminates the strecht you need to mount/unmount the tire, also happens when the rubber is old and hard to strech or form)

Multi pattern, prob keeping. The grey set he put on has a big lip bend at one of the star points drivers front, think he plans to flip it.

Get some magnetic bowls instead of just putting em on the car, or even have them on the lift. Totally worth it! Havent lost a nut/bolt since i got mine

When you lower fc's in the rear, the rear camber arm in the middle is offset so you will get different camber on each side.

Aw i really liked the white wheels that were on the FC. They also don't look like they're bent like those cosmis are. Run the white handbrake handle in the FC, the aluminum lathed one in the miata, and keep the honeycomb one around for something else.

It's pretty epic that someone sent you a transmission/exhaust jack. On that thing, lift the top part up before you spin the level, so that you get more out of each spin. Just make sure you keep your arms out of the way, those are good for putting the hurt on when they get spinning.

If you use the flat end of a tire iron on the opposite side of the knuckle in the drop bead it makes it a lot easier to dismount a low profile tire like the one you were doing. It helps the tire slip down into the dropped part of the wheel and makes life a little easier. You also want to set the stop on the knuckle arm so it 's about 1/8th from the rim otherwise it will hit the wheel and bind up.

I have the same exact coil overs on my fc and they’re great I love them. I kept them at the preset height that they sent and it looks great. Another thing I’d add to the fc is a front strut bar. It’s not like a drastic difference but it’ll help stiffin up the chassis.

Me and my buddy put his coil overs in his old fc in like 15-20 mins. Literally fc rx7 suspension is so simple compared other cars I’ve worked on

pro tip for the rear tyre, flip the wheel downside up and dismount hte tyre with the innerlip facing the head of the machine :) :)

just a thing on alloys too, if you use the clamp grabbing the edges not the inside it prevents the alloy slipping off worst case, although you probably are already aware :)

26:53 You need to be using that jack every time you do suspension work not just for exhaust work. Bushings and bolts that are horizontal or any angle for that matter need to be tightened at ride height and not full droop.

I have a bunch of fc's and a lot of parts if you ever need anything. I also have a full Granny's speed shop LT/LS FC/FB engine swap kit if anyone needs one it's just been on the shelf, Engine cradle,trans mount,Spicer drive shaft, a bunch of stuff, it's a full kit

pop out a couple rivets on the lower part of the overfender and bow it out some more by slightly moving the rivets closer to the wheel

I don't know if its just the angle when you approach the driver side, but that fender looks like its way more sucked in than the passenger one... have you measured anything from underneath to see if the its the body or the suspension?

That suspension is still good you should have seen the coils and struts in the 466,000mile Mercedes diesel that I used to have now they were worn out

The side to side fitment difference is due to the body kit i think, right side looks ok left side looks dented and so is outa shape so the tyre sticks out. ( tyre spelling is correct cause aussie ok!)

the rear wheels are offset to the left because the sub frame isnt centered. loosen bolts and you can slide it over.

yep, clearly 2 different overfenders in the back, it looks like there is no one on the left. (or the rear axle isn't centered after rear steering delete)

I could be wrong but your rear fitment issue could be due to the passenger over fender appearing to be "pinched" unlike the driver's sit

you could be dealing with staggered fitment or spacers regarding the rear wheels.
