love the FC. it gets overshadowed a little bit by its younger brother but I think it's my favorite RX-7 out of them all

I miss my FC Turbo II, bought 'er back in 1997 when the car was 10 years old and drove it every day for 15 years. Mind you the FD cars are rather nice too :)

The FC was just gorgeous with red paint and black interior. Too bad these cars are almost extinct and the ones that are still around have been crashed or otherwise badly abused. I bought a nice Turbo II car back in 1997 when it was 10 years old. Didn't own it for an hour before it was stolen and smashed around. It was CONSTANTLY being stolen and banged around all the time in the 15 years that I owned it. People are losers. Still miss 'er though.

What impresses me about older Japanese cars is how well they aged in terms of design. Can't forget the light and tossable nature of them either.

That's just a *gorgeous* FC. I love these stupid cars. Shame about the rattly interior, makes 'em hard to enjoy in Canada where you drive with the windows up pretty much most of the year and since it's cold the plastic bits shrink and rattle like crazy every time you hit a little bump. 3rd gen RX-7s aren't much better. Drives me bananas. Beautiful old car though!
