I just love Y'alls videos,awesome content ! Iike to see the way Eastern Kentucky was, I'm from Johnson County and when I hear Y'alls accent...Lord I just get so homesick ! I only get to go home twice a year Easter and Thanksgiving ! Got married and moved to middle Tennessee been here almost 40 years but, I still call Johnson county home and a lot of things have changed in and around Paintsville during those years...lost several family members ! I listen to Y'all talk and it reminds me of sitting on the front porch with my Grandparents !! Well hey Y'all please keep making your videos about Eastern Kentucky places and coal mines !! Hey Mr and Mrs coyote after seeing the pictures of Polk salad now that I know what it looks like it grows wild in parts of s georgia!

I remember it well. That ramp is steeper than it looks. I have been in there several times. He would often have a part or bolt that you couldn't find anywhere else. He was also really good running that old lathe too. You asked about the tire store. Yes, it was Harlan retread/General tire. Arguably the absolute worst retreaded tires in the whole world. Dad got a set and a big knot came out on the side of one of them and they wouldn't even replace it.

That's a mimosa tree. And it's classified as an invasive species (asia--shouldn't be surprised). Just like kudzu.
