Today we explore one of the most unique abandoned houses yet, the vibrant settlement of a gypsy collective.
This large farmhouse appears to have been within the family for generations, filled to the brim with their interests and hobbies.
With beds for up to 9 people and multiple caravans in the garden, this would have been a small community of its own.
Each room is overflowing with busy patterns and extensive collections. Photographs allow us to peer into their beautiful memories and learn of their heritage.
The garden also, holds many surprises!

It looks as if they had several children and all eventually moved out...then Mom & Dad passed away. Life goes by SO fast...cherish every moment...we are never promised another day.

Wow! I just loved this upload! Its just crazy how some people just up and leave like this and literally leave everything. All their beautiful memories just left. This house actually took me back years and reminded me of my Nans. She was a massive hoarder, but when we went to see her, it was like a massive adventure because we'd find so many different things that wasn't there the previous week. Memories, eh?! Great work SamandJess.

I have always admired how you both demonstrate such care and respect for everything that you touch in these houses. You even put every item back exactly where it was found. That house was an amazing explore! So very colorful and absolutely packed with wonderful memories. I couldn’t help but think how difficult it would be to dust all of those horses and nicknacks throughout the house.

Definitely not corn 🌽 fields, looks like barley 🌾 or wheat to me! Lmao at the microwave full of toilet paper 🧻, guess it gets cold there, gotta warm the TP 🧻 before you wipe 🤣 the negative’s as you called them are slides. That’s why th hey are in colour. The go into the slide projector that was right next to them. This house was totally amazing, and the workshop just as much! thank you so much for sharing this. What a great explore! 😎👍

It's possible that there are simply no heirs, or the rightful heirs to the property simply do not know that they entitled to it. It is possible to be the heir to property/cash from distant relatives that you have never known. I understand that if property/cash is not claimed for a certain amount of time it becomes property of state. There could also be disputes over who the heir is stopping progress from being made.

Sam it's funny you used the word "hippie" to describe it because that's exactly what I was thinking the minute you stepped into the place...that it reminds me of a "hippie house"! LOVE IT!!! And where you found all the photo albums, those weren't "negatives" Jess was looking at in the light of her phone, those were slides. You put them into a projector and projected them onto a white screen to look at....see now I'm showing my age...LOL

Awww, Jess bless her she looks so tired but I feel your both such gentle souls, love watching your explores , also love it when your with Karl and Wheatman, you have no fear, spiders I’m afraid are mine, I’m petrified of them lol so couldn’t do an explore myself, so keep going my friends, you take us where we cannot go lol. Your whispering shows your utter respect for your surroundings and the people that lived there before, I grew up going to school with a “ traveller family” and the Dad had his horses and Mum had her. porcelain and crystal wares, such proud people (( they were anyway) my Nan was called Daisy Violet too, I’m a 65 year old Grandmother and although never owned one, I have loved horses all my life, this explore was beautiful and brought back many happy memories to me of my own childhood growing up on the South Downs in Sussex, keep exploring Sam and Jess, we love it 🥰🥰🤗🥰🐾🥰🐾🥰🐾🕷🐎

This house is a great argument against minimalism. When I compare this house's interior with a monochromatic, sparsely furnished interior I'll go with this place anytime. Although you call it the gypsy house I don't believe they were pure Romany after seeing the family photos. I think they were a family enamoured by the Traveller's life. I see them as romantics with a love of colour and adventure. I wish, wish, wish this work of art would be restored and loved again.

What happened at the hotel that was so awful? Maybe you already explained that, it's been a year! Wow these people lived by their passions...with their passions? Their love for nature and horses was clearly evident in the front porch. The house is jammed full of their loves! This was such a treat to go through, and too bad you couldn't explore the caravans. I bet there were some full of beautiful treasures too. And there was bird who continuously sang during the entire video! Could be spirit celebrating someone paying a respectful visit to their humble but forgotten home?

It does have the feel that Gypsies once lived there. Many people lived in one trailer, caravan, or dwelling. They pulled their resources to feed everyone. They took care of their aging family members w/o the need of nursing homes. Gypsies are collectors of “things”. They can reuse, reduce, and repurpose materials into awesome pieces of work. Junk Gypsies (the home interior family) who now are worth more than they could have possibly imagined. Just by using their imagination combined with the knowledge of their fathers craftsmanship/handyman abilities.

How awesome, I’ve actually got one of those gypsy wooden caravans and the horse to pull it, I’m in the middle of repairing the caravan/cart. Thank you for sharing all this history. A very big shame it’s abandoned and in bad repair, it would make a beautiful place to live. Cheers guys for sharing and a big gday from Western Australia 👋👋👋👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🌻🌻🌻🇦🇺
