We explore an abandoned idyllic countryside house, nestled deep within the overgrowth, eleven years have passed since time stopped inside this family home.
Inside we find a cosy scene, wood panelled walls and timbered ceilings decorated in a tudor style. Unique items adorn each corner and an archaic theme runs throughout the whole house.
Upstairs, nature is slowly creeping into the cosy bedrooms. Stunning furnishings begin to slip further into decay.

Every time I see these big expensive houses like this with memories and personal effects left rotting and decaying it makes me glad I grew up in a working class family. I would never disrespect my parents or grandparents by leaving everything they owned and loved to just rot away or be stolen and vandalised. Seems to be the norm for the upper classes, no respect. This was an awesome find though guys and another amazing video. Your explores are the best.👌🙏

Me and the wife are around our 50s. We both remember most of the stuff you showed here from our parents and grandparents. We love your respect for these properties and especially you put the mattress back on the bed and closed the draws. What a lovely old-school type couple you are!

I would love to know the backstory on this house. It's obvious it has been ransacked one or more times yet I'm surprised nobody took that camera. I would have loved to see it back in the day.

Sam and Jess, I really enjoying watching your videos. You show great respect for the people who have lived and loved their lives before walking away. It must have been terribly difficult for the families to just leave. I'm afraid they will find my body in the middle of all my belongings if somebody were to visit my abandoned home. I can't imagine the reasons for just walking away. Wish we had the back stories for all your explorations.

Sam & Jess: This is by far the best abandoned home that you have ever explored on the channel. All the bit and bobs and homemade crafts were great. The furniture was also lovely. You both did a fantastic job. The red stove was in great condition. The plastered pumpkin color ceilings were a treasure. Sketchy flooring upstairs but some priceless antique furniture. Such a great explore. Thank you both so much. You R*O*C*K‼️

Given the opportunity, and if the price was right, I would buy this beautiful house in such idyllic surroundings. It looks like it’s been empty for a few winters though, without heating, which could have disastrous consequences for the building.

The negatives you found were in fact slides. My uncle only ever had his photos turned into slides and we would have many evening watching slideshows on a projector. When he died we had to dispose off over 3000 slides as nobody wanted them as they were classed as “old fashioned” So sad. Another great video and just as respectful as ever ❤️💙

You two you"ve done it again ! I am in love with this house and for once don't care about back story ( obviously I care about the people!) but I've just revelled in it especially the cobwebs ! Fab ! (Italian campaign folding stool in kitchen) The horn in the entrance way an example of Scrimshaw a bone/horn engraved by sailors and I suspect it probably had pictures as well as writing. By the way in " the olden days" we only used olive oil for earache and medicinal uses not cookery !!!! And you wont be surprised the old girl had one of those beautiful little wooden tricycles . I have a photo of my dinky little self looking all cute sitting on it . I was about 3 yrs old ! 🧓x

They know these video posts are advertising other peoples goods for theft and vandalism. They don't care about these places or they wouldn't be posting them up online. They are just pretending to care and say things are beautiful as they have to, its an attempt to justify the trespass and or break in. After this video post more people will see things and want to go steal them.

@@craig9299 I do understand what you're saying here with thinking that they're trespassing but they have said on a different video that they know the law that any unlocked building means that you can enter the property and not be classed as a tresspasser or something along those lines I don't know about those things but something like that was said on the different video of theirs I watched a couple of weeks ago. I have been watching several urbex channels over the last 6 months, and I'm in two minds about people going to other people's property because if you are living in there and they left the door open perhaps you forgot to lock it or thought you had locked it and someone enters a start looking for your stuff around your buildings, of course you would full you know violated. I understand that but that's what door locks are there for, make sure you keep your windows shut with you in whatever you know it's just things like that you know people here in these abandoned properties and that they're not thinking that they need to ensure that the properties are properly secured using the best measures install CCTV, alarms, use the metal fences with the concrete blocks to cordon off areas! Trespass signs to make it clear you don't want people on the site. we know that the owners of these places but they're not thinking about what they should do to secure his place and just leave it to rack and ruin yes the maybe come back from time to time to deal with it, but they've left personal pictures, passport, bank statements, names and addresses of not just themselves but I've other people who have corresponded with these people. it's not right and this is the sort of thing that they should be clear out. Go through the stuff room by room skipping what is not wanted sell off anything of resale value so that they are not wasted. I'm often baffled why each one has virtually the same things happened to it.
@craig9299
