We explore an old abandoned timbered farmhouse surrounded by fields in the English countryside, it has been left to decay since 2007.
It's warped hallways, creaking wonky floor, busy wallpaper and carpets give this place a surreal feeling.
The former residents talented artwork remains dotted around the property, it's incredible to see it untouched.
Crowded with all kinds of belongings, this place holds many nick nacks from the past.
Cob webs stream from the ceilings, mould creeps further across the walls and the natural decay threatens to eventually bring this place to the ground, losing the contents forever.

The artist would be delighted if they knew how many people were viewing their artwork through your lens. It's sad that it is all lying forgotten about but we all appreciated it here. Thanks Sam and Jess.

Hi Sam and jess.Only just watched this vlog & it is a real time capsule gem but with that as you both know comes a very sad story, it gives us a glimpse of the life of the long gone owner who incidentally had either alzheimers or parkinsons. Now all their personal belongings & house are left to

The 2 of you are such a sweet couple! What a pristine couple lived there. Such treasures inside! Loved the antiques & baby carriage! Very sad that this property is going into such decay😔 The artist was wonderful! Too bad that those portrayed in the paintings couldn’t have them! Your narrative is inspiring & voice is soothing! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us ❤️

Wowww. As an Art conservator these types of explores are always my favorite to watch. We don’t have places this old and well preserved in America. Here everything is usually destroyed and covered in graffiti by the time we find them. 😞 And rarely is any type of art left behind, especially to this extent. A great thing to do if you find more art in places, is if it’s easy access like sitting on the floor and has no date on the front, and especially if it’s on a wood stretcher, if you could turn it around to show the back, do a scan of it and get a close up of the wood and hold on that a moment I will be able to sometimes give you an estimate of how old it is. It’s easier to date paintings by the age of the wood it’s stretched on. Thanks so much for this explore, it was amazing!!!! Cheers from America!

There's an entire untapped lucrative market just waiting to be cashed in on in the "urbex/abandoned explore" genre. I think many viewers would get a kick out of seeing footage of secretly filming the people who clean up and stage all of these abandoned places. You know, the conversations and logic behind placing an antique bottle of laxatives on the fireplace mantle, dusting off objects and placing them in areas with 3 inches of sediment etc.

What an amazing house, the pram is like the one i was in as a baby in 1960.such a shame all those paintings will be left to rot and go to waste. He looks quite an eccentric gentleman.I looked up the name but couldn't find anything suitable to match. Interesting explore S AND J XX ❤️💙

A beautiful episode showing us this wonderful old house. It seemed to have a great feel to it even though so neglected and what a relief that no one has gone in and trashed it. I loved his paintings and it really is sad to see that they will be destroyed by time, like you I wish someone could at least try and preserve them. Btw loved Sam’s face and response when you asked whether or not you should go up to the attic... you go girl. Just loved this, thank you guys

The trap door is for lowering coffins to the ground floor ( very common feature in old cottages of years gone by) it was easier than going down the stairs, good explore 👍👍👍👍👍

What a lovely old house, once loved, now sadly neglected 😢 often wonder about the people who lived there, and in some of these places, such a shame, when there was once lots of happy memories, that no one seems to taking care of it?

One of the most interesting places I've seen someone explore. The paintings, the personal messages, just brilliant to watch. Like the narration over the video too. Well done.
