I'd like to thank Derek for providing me with this location it was a great find and I was happy to go visit. New paragraph This House was set well back from the road and it was quite the truck through the snow to get there so that would explain my out of breath as you listen to the video I'm not quite as in shape as I used to be before the pandemic. This old farmhouse appears to have been built in three sections the oldest section and then a newer section that a smaller section on the back and red. Throughout the house were beautiful sturdy baseboards and on the main floor, the pocket doors were amazing. it's often rare that I find pocket doors that still slide generally they've swelled to the point of not being able to be used.
In the upstairs, the plank floors I haven't seen in this good of condition in ages not since the houses that were destroyed by the Hwy407 were still standing. There's something about hearing the echo of my boots on the plank flooring that's very cool. I'm glad I didn't visit this house in the summertime cuz it appears that it was very popular with bees as you can see in a couple of the windows. I'm not sure I would have picked out the teal colour for the bathroom but I'm sure at the time this was built that was incredibly popular and luxurious.
finding the measurements of the kids on the door was a great find I do that with my kids and I have since they were born and it also gives an indicator of when the house was occupied.
When I went into the barn there was some type of machine there and I was trying to figure out what it was oddly I'm far away from home but this machine appears to have been built near where I live. If you know what it is can you tell me in the comments below.
