This amazing farmhouse in Dufferin county sits idle slowly succumbing to time.
This house has such beautiful features architecturally but this is one of those times where you say they just don't build them like this anymore. A strong stone foundation and beautiful brick facade should have had this house stand the test of time.
Exploring this property was very enjoyable. I especially like finding old newspapers. this house appeared to have a Butler's pantry which is a unique feature and I don't see it all the time but this house certainly warrants it. Well there was some graffiti it wasn't heavily spray painted and the variety of colors in the rooms gives an indication that it was a family who lived here and that they enjoyed the space. As I ventured outside and checked one of the outbuildings I found the farm equipment which is kind of sad when you see it sitting unused. Farmers feed cities and I'm afraid we're losing more and more every year.
Another location I'm so happy I found!
