Abandoned Urbex Canada

Abandoned Urbex Canada

Жыл бұрын

The former owner of this house was named Mike, as a child he was bullied quite a bit. In the 1970’s Mike moved to Japan with his father. The bulling continued in Japan. Mike then met a karate master and they began to train for self defense. Then 10 years later Mike moved to Florida where he decided to open up his own karate school. Later he met a student that went to his karate school. They eventually got married and had 3 children together. Mike was popular in the karate community as excellent teacher and his high level in karate. Mike achieved 10th Dan Black belt which is the highest level that a person can achieve in a Japanese martial art. It takes 40 or more years of continuous training and teaching to archive this. He was so popular the president approached Mike to be his bodyguard. He was thrilled at the opportunity and agreed. As Mike aged and years went on his health deteriorated and he had a number of health issues. Sadly Mikes wife passed away and mike went into a retirement home. In 2020 Mike passed away. We believe once Mike moved out and into an old age home. Mikes good friend moved into his house to live and take care of his house. He was a skilled Air Force pilot earning a few medals during his career. In approx. 2012 Mikes friend abandoned the house leaving everything behind. Mikes friends whereabouts is unknown. Leaving this abandoned house a mystery.

About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

I think this is the home of Michael (Mike) G Foster, a U.S pioneer in Karate. He was famous, he joined the airforce in the mid 1950’s. And was stationed in Japan. He even learned Japanese. And eventually he settled in Florida. Lived in Tampa I think at one stage Where I think he taught high level karate. But he definitely ran the Karate Programs at U.S colleges in his lifetime. If it’s him, then someone needs to track down his relatives possibly thru obituary notices online and let them know his house and stuff is deteriorating. They may not even even live in the state and even know. Michael G Foster died 11 Feb 2021. After a long illness.

@Sandra Bates, I agree it is very sad to see a lifelong heritage left behind. I suppose extended family members had no choice but to move along elsewhere to find a secure job and income. I live in what is sadly called the rust belt, Ohio, New York & Pennsylvania where our once thriving manufacturing industries have moved overseas so there are very few jobs or reasons to stay on our once upon a time good family land.

Cool place! The USAF shirts are the first desert camouflage pattern we called "chocolate chip" and are from Desert Storm, so they're 20-25 years old. I was USAF and am still Air National Guard (27 years and counting) and there have been four uniform changes since those shirts.

Wow! Great find! The Mercedes; the organ; the piano; good looking dressers; the old orange velvet barrel chair - my favorite. Huge home. This man had a family. What a shame none of them give away and/or donate to a charity, a religious organization; shelter or an organization that can sells these goods and use the money for good. Pay It Forward! The home is in great shape for being empty so long. Thank🌻You Brent- really enjoyed it. 👍🏻

Many people have their utilities on auto payments. I’ve read stories about people who have died, and it’s only when their bank accounts run empty, that someone discovers them deceased. One man in Germany died, and his skeleton was found decades later in an apartment building. The tv and Christmas lights were still on, and the tv guide open in his lap that showed the date 🫤

Your channel is one of the best I watch! ❤️ You do such an excellent presentation and really tell the “story” by personalizing each video. I was so sad to see this home abandoned and one of America’s finest ❤️🇺🇸❤️ having no one to have treasured his belongings. So frustrating to know ppl have violated his home and probably taken things too. A sad story that needed to be told. Thank you so much. It once was a lovely home I’m sure.

Sad. I don't understand why the friend disappeared. Why would his friend or the man that died, not let one of his children deal with the house. Why are the medals and things of value given to his children. Kids don't appreciate the hard work the parents do for them. We don't know the whole story, obviously. But the friend should have told the kids he was leaving and asked them to take what they wanted. Sad all the way around

Excellent explore, that Benz wagon is rarely seen, even when they were at their most popular era 1978 - 1985 they were the least least sold, however the diesel benz wagon of this era was still a great top quality and can be a car you could own for life. Seen on with more than 500,000 miles on it before.

Looks like squatters may have been there at some point. The guy that was last living there probably got to old to live alone & had to leave. Maybe the owner guy is still alive so the house just sits. Electric co is drawing money from someone's bank account monthly. Maybe tied up in probate if he has passed. In the end the family will probably only have the land because house will have to be torn down.

Here is a question that no one seems to address: Who is paying to keep the electricity on? Many abandoned homes visited by Brent (and others) seem to have the electric on for years! Who's is paying these bills? Is it normal for Canadian power companies to leave the power on when a person dies? Very unusual. Would never happen in the U.S. Either pay the monthly bill or off it goes! Any siggestions?

This is no longer M. Fosters home. It's deed belongs to another couple. While it's not taken care of....it does belong to someone as well as it's entirety.

Great video! I did a ton of research on this house and finally found that it was located in the same county I live in and went to go see it over the weekend. Everything is still the same besides the power is shut off now. (I did not find the location in your video, it was in someone else's video with the address displayed easily to see).

@@AbandonedUrbexCanada I hope not either but it appears to look the same as it did in previous videos. This was my first ever abandoned house I have explored and I admire the profession as well as the history behind these abandoned places/homes and cannot believe everything was left like that! so sad!

I have been injured for almost 2 years in June. I am finding my weakness and atrophy in my hip and muscles, causes injury quite quickly, especially on my weak side, which throws my gaining some recovery off completely. Any tips to know how to know when to stop? Baby steps are what I've gone by...but injury sets me back. I try to do something everyday. I didn't realize how easily injured you can become..is this normal part of recovery for neurological damage?

hey brent, i ordered a product off your site at the beginning of march. It still hasn’t shipped and i was trying to get it here for my dads bday. does it usually take this long???

Hey there! Thank you! It depends on where it’s going to be shipped. If you go to Teespring and look up your order it should say what the process is at and if it has been shipped. Or just give them a call or email and ask for an update. Hope your dad gets it in time

The patch was an Aero medical squadron patch. The USAF guy was probably a flight nurse. The camo was probably from around 1991-1993.

Exploring Florida is super fun I grew up there doing just that. We found some amazing places that were abandoned beautiful mansions and some little shacks out in the woods too, found a shack one-time out in the woods that had a tuxedo and a top hat in it.
