I was shocked to find out this farmhouse was built in 1829 and the previous owner was a Doctor and worked as the Medical Officer of Health. The house was later sold to a developer in 2016 and was rented out for a short time. The police was once called to this house for a violent assault. It now sits abandoned and the future of this historic home is unknown.

I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.

It’s soo frustrating seeing all of these abandoned homes, when there are desperate people in need of a roof over their heads out there. Not just the unemployed either. Great video!

Yes alot of homeless are not unemployed or getting government assistance. Homes like this would be a great hand up.

@@tylerspunucious7420 You're blind to the family who lost their home due to fire or flood. The new adult who aged out of the foster care system and have no family to help them. People who chose to get through college but have to sleep in their car to be able to afford it. The parent who'se child is sick with immense medical expenses & needing to be at the hospital instead of work has pushed them out of their home. There are so many reasons people end up homeless and none of them are seen or given a hand becuase of those like you sold on hate.

This is what I'm constantly saying watching these videos; I feel like there are no pristine explores left out there. No house that's been left and not explored for an extended period of time (10-30) years. Everything has been seen and explored/looted/vandalized, etc. Crazy just how quickly and far urbex spread.

Beautiful explore, and what an incredible amount of money has been spent on the reno. Watching this gave me a strange sense of foreboding, though - bad vibes, maybe? It would be interesting to know the backstory, right? Thanks for sharing this video, Brent!

This home and this property must have once been so beautiful. I can just imagine all of the happy moments, like Christmas and Thanksgiving with family and friends. Truly sad to see it in this state. I am glad it hasn't been vandalized, though. Let's hope it stays that way.

My favorite part was the barn with the original rock foundation walls. Loved that part. With a hefty chunk of ca$h you could make on heck of a small hone inside the barn and it would be a true sight to behold! Thank🌻You - great😍to see you. Until your next explore- best regards.😊

Beautiful house, really like the style and renovations. The drop crystal chandelier is very nice. The odd looking bed at 10:05 looks like either part of an adjustable hospital stretcher or an army camp bed to me. Nice place with good bones, hope they save it. Thanks for the explore.

Great explore as usual Brent. Beautiful house on the inside, I wouldn't mind living there with a brook running through the property. I just love how you take your time exploring and pointing out things we wouldn't notice unless we were actually there. Can't wait for the next one 👍

I would not call this fancy but it is warm feeling with a touch of love thank you for sharing this old farmhouse explore. That bed down stairs looks like a old hospital bed for people to sleep on. My Father -in - law had 1 before he passed away here in my home I still have his bed.Thank you so much Brent

Wow, what a trip. Nice job with the reno's, sad to see it fall into disuse like that. Speculators, developers.... The helmet in the barn bears the logo of the Ontario Harness Horse Association. Wonder if maybe they had a practice track set up out back somewhere as well..... interesting. Thanks!

Im pretty sure the section of the basement that was raised up and had the original stone foundation was the original height of the basement & the rest was dug out and finished professionally, its a huge job

Wow! That house is absolutely gorgeous. It definitely has plenty of room for large families or farm hands. I am betting it costs a pretty penny too. Someone put a lot of money into fixing it up. Thank you for the tour!!

The one house I went into has been demolished.. so I'm glad I took countless photos of it over the years.. Literally watched it fall into ruin from 2013 to 2021.. in October 2022 it was demolished and the basement filled in and they burned what was left..

Oh my days what a lovely farm house 🏠 so nice in every room the bathrooms with the showers was big and the flooring was nice as well very light rooms shame about the crime scene wonder what happened 😢 in there it's a shame it's going to get destroyed if vandalisms get in there to wreck it I would love to own that big time great video 📸 great explorer

I'm surprised how nice the interior is! Very unassuming from the outside. Someone really took care of this home and put a lot of time and money into the interior. So shiny and clean. Very nicely done! I always wonder why they up and left. Great tour as always 👍

they did a great job seven years ago, a very good place, even after so many years of desolation the house is in a decent condition, but it looks like the roof at the time of the repair was in a satisfactory condition and it was not repaired, but today, the roof is already leaking, and if if it is not repaired, then the house is doomed ... how beautifully and competently the plinth of the barn is made of rubble stone, excellent work, it’s a pity such a structure cannot be moved to the museum ...

The weird room with the cabinet and sink is alot of times a dinning room they entertain in..like a bar in the room off the kitchen..this was a great fine. Love all the old door knobs, Thanks for sharing

I like peeking into these abandoned properties. If you have the chance, There are lighthouses and a house on the Slate Islands in Terrace Bay, Ontario. I would love to see the inside of the house in the Bay behind the lighthouse. I believe they are property of Parks Canada.
