A better audio jump scare would be to show an abandoned bathroom, and then out of nowhere a loud echoing fart noise that eventually fades into the next scene.

Didn't care for the jumpscare at all. Personally (I'm aware this isn't true for everyone) I watch these videos to relax and that's kind of compromised by the possibility that they'll throw in random loud noises at any moment. On the other hand, these videos are second to none in the category, and there's no way it'll stop me watching or subscribing. To those who say we shouldn't give feedback on the videos, why do you think there's comment section below every YT video? Dan Bell keeps the comments open and is active on several kinds of social media - I'd say it's a bit insulting for you to imply that he's only fielding positive feedback and doesn't want to hear criticism. The videos are free to watch but as Dan himself has said, they are funded through monetisation, and through Patreon donations, and they want to provide good value for those who put up the money. So I'm pretty sure they're okay with any kind of feedback as long as it's respectful. They can take it or leave it as they see fit.

Oh come on Dan! Your videos are unique, well shot, interesting and have fantastic atmosphere. You're a cut above many many other explorers and in my opinion, make the best abandoned building videos. I know you're based in the US but if you ever get the chance head to Nocton RAF base in Lincolnshire (UK). There's an old manor house, which is crumbling ruins, next to an old peoples retirement home which still has all beds, files, personal stuff still in tact and then an RAF military site/hospital next door. Trouble is, it's all been there abandoned for 20 years and it takes up half the town so they have plans to knock it down in the next few years :(

cool ending. I love exploring at night. I couldn't film it unless I had a night vision camera. I only turn the flashlight on if I really need to. When I was doing it. I would stay several hours in the dark. After your mind stops making things that aren't there. You can see real nice. You can also see other people from a distance. Or even the flashlight coming your direction. Got close to getting caught twice. Still worth it every time. Love the black light shots. That also won't travel as far as your white lights. Even a shorter distance than a red light. Great thing to have on you.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and living in a timber frame house that was poorly sealed. The bats decided to make a home in the eves of the house and found a way to crawl inside and on more than one occasion I woke up to see a bat flying back and forth across my bedroom. I know the title says this is a military base, but the paint colors (both inside and outside) looked like nothing you would find in an American military base. Military bases typically use two colors: antique linen and tobacco brown. I grew up a military brat, so I've spent enough time on bases to have those two ugly colors ingrained in my head. Military is way too standard to use bright green.

Actually I grew up a military brat then spent 24 years as a military wife. The green is a thing. I saw desks that color and walls...lol I swear they get the paint cheap! The off white and brown are a bore. When I bought a house the first thing we did was paint in all of the rooms. It was so nice to be able to do that!!

He found Will,curled up in a blanket behind an abandoned building on the mean streets of Baltimore. Dan coaxed him out with a can of spaghetti-o's and some warm Ovaltine. He adopted Will, and after some trying times attempting to house break him, he has been Dan's trusty sidekick ever since.

The jump scare thing, like really? Second one I have seen in your series, very sad. I like your channels because you are so much more professional than most other Urbex folks out there, and I trust what I am seeing because you don't mess about.
