in today's video my friend @JeremyXplores and I stumble upon a mysterious home. By the looks of it, it must've been lived in during the 90s into the early 2000s by a Wife and her kids, nothing is known about the father but it seems like the wife's parents and other relatives/friends lived with her as well. it's a very mysterious home were nothing can be explained into why it's abandoned, everything is left untouched and nothing seems to have moved. it's as if the family just vanishedin this amazing abandoned timecapsule home.

I've seen this house explored before by another urban explorer, the house apparently belonged to a married couple who had a few kids, they allegedly passed away in a tragic car accident, hence why everything is left as if they were coming back.

This is really sad. We came into this world with nothing and so shall we leave with nothing. Even millionaires leave their money, cars, mansion and valuable items when they die. It's shows that this life we're living has no meaning. All these worldly things don't have value anymore when we die. How sad it is. 😢

The door in the floor of the upstairs bedroom is quite possibly a trap door for getting large items of furniture upstairs as the staircase is so narrow and twisty. We had one very similar in our old farmhouse. Can't blame them putting a hefty lock on it if they had kids.

Steve that wasn't a voodoo doll, just a homemade doll, I have the pattern for the same dool. The sticks on the table that you called toothpics are actually a game called pick up sticks. Great explore, loved it, safe travels ❤❤❤

The door in the floor was the same door you were underneath with the narrow stairs that led up into it. The sticks on the table were pick up sticks. The glasses that looked like they were filled with Fanta are actually frosted or painted. They weren’t filled. Nice. I really enjoy your videos. You’re my favorite urbex dude.

It looks like an inherited home. The stuff was probably there and the family either grew up in it or moved into it. When their parents/grandparents died. I can imagine it was a very active and joyful place at one time. Family either died in an accident or had to run without planning a move. Either way it’s heartbreaking.

If this lady was a fashion model it could be that she kept the old magazines because she was featured in them. I had the exact notebook/laptop thing as a student in 2000. The stereo system they had also came out in 2000. Mine is still working! This is such a sad story and video. Hopefully if the one child survived he would/should be grown up by now and can possible return for photo's and special family stuff.

Strange place. At first I thought there were two sisters and their children who came to live with their parents. Still could be but I thought the computer room was weird. I think one sister was a model a one time. Parents likely died and like many families, everything left because the children no longer want or can care for the property. Thanks so much!

I think you guessed the date pretty well. The house puzzles me a little because the family seems to have kept things well past the end of the products time (like that old sewing machine). Also, they had computers from late 80's or early 90's, but I saw a "flight simulator 2002", so I don't understand all the old PCs laying around. Magazines dated to the late 1990's seem consistent with the flight simulator from 2002 because some people are slow to throw magazines away. However, I stopped using a typewriter back in the mid 1980's when I got a ribbon printer for my old PC. These folks had lots of type writers. A lot of contradictory clues in this one. It would have been interesting to look at the storage size of the computer hard drives.

Depends if they have family members to be claiming. I've noticed sadly family doesn't really care anymore when a loved one passes to be bothered to go and sort through things of what they want and to donate the rest. It'd take one day, at max, but many just don't want to do it.

Fanta is correct, that is not a vudoo doll, that is a handmade doll, I used to make them years ago myself. You could go to the fabric store and the material would have the outline already on it and all you would have to do is cut it out, sew it together, stuff it, and sew it shut. The sticks on the table in the living room were not toothpicks, they were the pickup sticks game.

When I saw the magazine dated 1988 my first thought was Pan Am flight 103. Maybe lost a family member and it took some time to go back to the home. There seems to be jumps in decades of being occupied then unoccupied and occupied again. Like the elderly couple left it to family. Hence the really old things, then there were the occupants in the 80s. Then again near 2000.

After watching this for the second time, I'm wondering if maybe the house belonged to the grandparents, and after both had passed away, maybe she/they couldn't afford to keep the house going, so left it. Why they wouldn't have taken their possessions though is a mystery 🤔 I love your imagination Steve. I was thinking how normal that was, and not in the least spooky. If you're in the darkness however, your mind will play tricks on you, and make you edgy. Any old house with beams will creak and groan. Even a new house does it whilst the wood settles and moves. As it will when its left with no heating. Its a living thing, until its eaten away with rot. When my hubby used to do night shifts, our home was new, and i would hear all these creaks and cracks coming from the loft lol. I dont beleive in ghosts, but ii felt it comforting to leave a light on, just incase someone should try to break in. STEVE RONAN, you dont need anyone else. "Antiques" you say. Amusing to see hard drives there.... considering with have SSD's now, in a way you're kinda right. hahaha! Also, I spotted "MS Flight Simulator 2002" and then one of the boxes in the corner was that of a Netgear router (the box color scheme has been like that as far back as I remember, even when my own family upgraded to broadband internet and had to get a similar router....... back in 2004). So whatever happened to the family MUST have happened in the mid-late 2000's. Actually, I'm leaning more towards late 2000's, probably even early 2010s at the absolute latest because, when I looked back, I also saw a box for "Flight Simulator Edition Gold" -- you can tell by the Windows logo at the top of that box, the game was released around the time of Windows Vista and Windows 7.... that would put the date for whatever happened to the family to have been AFTER 2007-2009. Scrolling down to the other comments below.... if it's really true, if the family did all die in some sort of accident, that is absolutely horrible.

Very interesting, I wonder what was underneath that locked trap door? One of the games was Flight Simulator 2002, so there's a clue of the year. Looked like the year on the handwritten letter was 1994.

I'd love to see what's in that locked door in the floor but at the same time time I'm happy no one broke into it. Just going to have to be a mystery and I'll have to use my imagination of what I think could be there!

I think the locked door or trap door was the same door that was in the garage that had stairs leading up to it.
