In today's episode I take you guys to the southern parts of America where my friend and I discovered an abandoned mansion off the Beaten Track. It's been said that the daughter involved herself in Satanic rituals. And now what once was a beautiful home is engulfed by the darkness, now come with me as we wander into the Forgotten.
All I know is that this place was once lived in by a family around the 1980s, they had six children. The husband was in the oil industry and the wife just stayed at home and took care of the kids. It's like a typical family has a dark secret. One of their daughters was a troubled child and It's been said that she practiced Satanic ritual. She even attempted to kill her younger brother. One night the brother woke up to her sister with a knife but luckily the parents restrained her and after that, she was put into a psychiatric ward. On the same time in the 1990s, the oil industry was in Decline over here and the father ended up losing his job. The family was unable to pay the mortgage, so this place wasn't taken by the bank and the place has been left abandoned with everything inside.

Is this house abandoned since the 50s? The newspaper was from the year in 1950s though. It's crazy how neat and organized everything looks.

The little glass figurines at 21:44, I have the same things except for the elephant. The home is so beautiful. So many of these homes have such beautiful furniture. I hope someone would take care of all the gorgeous furniture & other things inside. The pole is just a lamp .

A lot of that wall decor looks to be from the 70’s. There were several things I saw that my parents had when I was little like the huge wooden spoon and fork on wall, that glass lamp with deer on the glass shade and there was some round brass “picture” on wall in same room I know we had. So interesting and I just love all the antique furniture! I would be in my glory to go visit these places with ya’ll!

What a weird place to put a pole.. looks like that pole is holding up some flowers. Not for pole dancing. That was a floor to ceiling lamp. Notice the lights on it? It didn't need an end table, and it could be moved anywhere and could even be next to a chair for reading light. Another pole with lights in a bedroom. The decor on the wall looks like upside down crosses with flowers hanging upside down attached, but that is one way to dry flowers. So, once dry, you can simply rotate that decor so the dried flowers are upside right, and then it won't look like upside down crosses anymore.

A lot of 1970s and early 1980s decor and furniture...the large fork and spoon, Home Interior brand, the chairs around the kitchen table, the broom/fan decor around the bedrooms.

Also the "pole" had springs on the top and bottom. You could easily lift them up. They were popular in the 50's/60's. They would hang flowers from them.

It looks like someone bought the place and is trying to flip it. Those poles u keep seeing are braces to hold the walls up. Beams rot (or in my experience, removed long enough to sell a home). It’s kinda like a car Jack, but for ur house. If the town has codes for historic preservation, it should start with clearing trees out of the front yard. They even got a mattress ready on the floor! It’s a gorgeous home, very well-kept, even if it is less than presentable for now. I played Ouija after watching The Curse in my parents house and someone’s living there now. Should I be worried? Lol

My mom had those poles, which were used to hang vintage lamps or vining plants. That is why they have hooks on them. They are not stripper poles or wall braces as mentioned in the comments. They were adjustable to fit any ceiling height by a tension spring inside.
