Today we are visiting this Victorian Tudor Gothic style building that dates back to 1848, this station was closed in the 1960s which lead to it being converted into a private dwelling, the remains of which we see here today.
In 1865 this was the site of a rail crash which killed 13 and injured 30, there’s an eerie feeling as soon as you step through gates, maybe this tragic accident all those years ago left something behind.
I found a small bit of information about the most recent occupants who are now deceased, the man who lived inside the house had a caravan at the back of the garden where his daughter and grandchild lived, its said that the daughter had some issues with drug use and sadly passed away.
The caravan remains, and although being swallowed up by the overgrowth, still holds all their belongings inside like they only left yesterday. Photos of a lady and of a baby lay scattered around, the babies room hides in the back, an unsettling feeling made us feel like leaving the caravan promptly after going into this room.
Trains continue to pass by and shake this large empty red brick house every now and again, then it returns to silence, sat here amongst the countryside.
Old possessions still remain inside, some rooms pristine, some severely decayed.
Another location that has seen so much, holds so much history but has now been forgotten...

The house was previously owned by Clive Jones who ran a haulage firm. Clive was an avid custom and classic car enthusiast particularly Bugatti, hence the outside workshops. He died suddenly at the wheel of one of them in 2001. No idea where the rumours about the death of his daughter come from, as she moved to Scotland after her Father's death and the house has been abandoned since.

Yet another example of a lovely property which has been wasted by people who don’t have the respect you have. This house should be rescued before it is too late. Thanks for another great walk around Sam and Jess.

I understand time and nature taking a toll, but why do people feel the need to trash an abandoned place?? They are not making a positive mark for posterity. They are disrespecting the people who lived and worked there, the history, and depriving urbexers of something wonderful! Thanks for taking us along ✨

Hopefully someone seeing this video that knows of its whereabouts or can find its whereabouts will approach the legal owner? the council? or rail company? in question with view to buy and restore it. I know this is not always possible as inheritance is not always clear if a will has not been left and is maybe in testate? or for other legal reasons?? I know i am not alone in my horror and disgust when seeing these properties and there plight. You Sam and Jesse have the perfect platform using your Video channel as a means to highlight these issues of properties that have been left to fall into such a state of decay and having being vandalized. I actually think that using your site and bringing to the attention of councils even if and the legalities of who owns a home and who doesn't should be held accountable for properties being allowed to get into this condition??? Now i'm sure we would much rather see these properties lived in even if its at the expense to the council for rebuilding or other association?, Or if privately owned properties should have a compulsory purchase order if the owners fail to look after, maintain, let out or just sell before this happens. There is always a problem with properties that are in isolated areas they are prone to burglary and getting damaged by nature of there proximity, however this does unfortunately fall down to owners precautions in security and there insurance in the worst case. Now here is my thought. Post your videos to the councils in that area. This should create some sort of reaction as they cannot say that they were unaware of the properties condition. This then should either prompt them into contacting the owners to to make the property safe as it is obvious that people have access onto, into the site??? I don't think the council could leave the property in a dangerous state once they have been made aware. This might well mean it will be boarded up in an attempt to keep trespassers out, and unfortunately that would mean you as urban explorers. But it will prompt action so that the council must act upon.? If its in there borough?? Now further to that you have nearly 30.000 views on this property, get there signatures as a form of leverage to the council to take action. There are always losers in a situation like this and this is yet another such case. This would mean no more exploring, but try help save the property and others you have explored. Some may unfortunately have to be pulled down? But i also think in some cases for safety reasons It would be the better outcome. I would hate a child to get hurt or worse whilst exploring. I hope this is of some use? It would be lovely to see this and other properties you shown back to there former glory. Future video ah? However i do believe that acting fast in the case of many of these properties is the key to there future. Best of luck in your future ventures. G.H.

I was no sooner going to write my comment when you said you saw a figure run past a window, and I was going to comment that I wonder how many of these places you explore are either abandoned because they're haunted or they become haunted after they're abandoned. And shadow people are what usually give you the feeling that your eyes were playing tricks on you or you think you saw something out of the corner of your eye. Stay safe, loves! xo

Here in a small town about 50km where i live there's an old railway station building for sale at 1euro :D Built in 1887 was in use until 2008. It is protected by office of museum so it can't be demolished and strict guidelines what renovations etc. can be done to it. Outside can't be modified in any way. But it's refurbished, has 402 squaremeters of space, 7 rooms, 6 toilets. 3 rooms with own toilets and a common area. 2 apartments with own toilets and kitchens, a big hall where celebrations can be kept.
