Abarth Sabelt Seat Lowering Kit Installation!

I have solved the problem with the way too high seating-positioning in the Abarths equipped with Sabelt seats. Step-by-step installation of new replacement lowering brackets that lowers the seat by -27mm, which improved my overview of the instrument cluster. Mission accomplished!

very good video I would like to know how you can cancel the airbags of the seats that carry the normal ones so that the light does not jump on the dashboard and thus be able to take them installed thanks

It's a very informative video. I bought a kit to lower the seat because I have an Abarth with a Sabelt seat, but from the video, I guess I need an adjusted sliding lever? Can you tell me where to buy the modified sliding lever? I'm in Korea, not Europe, where there are a lot of Abarth, so I'm limited in purchasing accessories…

Hi! One question for you. Stock brackets have metal pipe which links left and right bracket. Custom brackets don’t have this two pipe? Will it affect the seat strength, will the seats sink because there are no two pipes that support that seat? Best Regards

Hi Branko, You are right, the lowering brackets doesn’t have the same connecting pipes in between them. I really don’t know if or how this will effect the seat strength in the long run. And so far I have just had the lowering kit installed for a couple of weeks, so I guess time will tell... But the bottom of the seats is made of a relative strong plastic ”shell” so I hope they will stay the same.

Great tutorial how to lower your seats but the music is so loud and your voice is not so constantly turning the music down and your voice up.....very annoying but thank you for the vid.
