My takeaway from this episode 2of season 4 is that Many christians might not have encountered Christ as Chief Sanya did but they encountered Christ through His Word. He speaks through His Word and they hear His voice. How important it is to read and mediate on God's Words always because it's our point of daily encounter with Christ our savior. Amazing so far! 1. How did a virtuous woman like Morenike end up with someone like Gbade as Husband? It really gets me thinking. 2. I see a repeat of something significant that happened before. Remember in Season 2/3, Nike (Gbade's Daughter) heard the message of Salvation through Dele when he preached at their school, but she postponed receiving it till another time. Unfortunately for her, she fell victim of Durosanya's hunt for prey right after that message. It would've been averted if she received Christ. The same is happening with Akin. He has realized that death is looming, but has rejected the message of salvation coming through his secretary. The truth is that what their Father (Gbade) has done is something that brings curses on a lineage/generation and Christ is the only escape. So God was/is truly trying to show Nike and Akin mercy so they don't carry the consequence of what they know nothing about, maybe because of their Mother. Akin may end up being used as sacrifice in his father's quest to kill Sanya and Martins. There's a lesson there for all of us. 3. Dele is distracted. Even beyond the souls that are not being saved, trouble is brewing for the school and no one evens know about it yet. The era of cultism, kidnapping and bloodshed is about to return and none has sensed it, save for Flora and Kayode.
