@@maerythegreek9008 Outside in the public? Yes. But when a woman is at her home, with her family, she can wear whatever nice clothes and make up and whatnot she wants to wear. Especially when she's with her husband, she can walk around naked if she wants to. But the reason why God told women to hide their beauty from the public eye is because there's so much evil and badness out their that we don't even know about. Some people will even get jealous and start doing witchcraft and black magic on you and your family. Out there, there's the evil eye, there are rapists, serial killers who just kill for fun, bad men, bad women, evil intentions. God is trying to protect us from all that. Do you want a peaceful and happy life, or a life filled with calamities and misery just because you wanted to dress good for the society. Also, the same society you're dressing up for doesn't care about you, when you die, they'll just throw you 6ft in to the ground and you'll be long forgotten in a few days. Even if you keep telling yourself, "I'm dressing up for me". You're not, and you know it.
