The new automation portfolio includes an innovative, high performing robotic palletizing system utilizing an ABB IRB 660 robot. The system palletizes 5 gallon drums of paint at a rate of up to 48 per minute. The features include the use of a single robot, the speed and flexibility of the system, the weight of the load (four drums at a time = 220 lbs/100kg) being palletized and the dexterity of the gripper.
