I've survived that dreadful era on which part of the 'serious" music press sadistically and hideously mocked Abba and their fans for various unfair reasons stabbing them/us and twisting their knives deep inside exposing their toxic 'manipulative art" of love to hate them.And i might sound mean but No i can't forget neither forgive those pathetic critics.Now i'm so very proud that Abba and us have the last laugh.

The pronounced anti-ABBA sentiment in the Swedish media/establishment in the 70s definitely has left a mark on them. Adored by the people, but systematically ridiculed by the opinion formers - bad headlines, bad reviews, critical angles all the time. They were creative human beings, artists, of course they weren't immune to that. But wonderful how things have changed also in Sweden

i can see why Frida says something about deep satisfaction to be honoured in Sweden especially as Swedish press and public gave them a hard time back in the day. Ideologie makes you blind, regardless from which side..

Frida didn't bite her words and doesn't forget .All very well said by her.Time proved those poisonous frogs all wrong. Abba came back in 2021 due to a tested 4 decades huge public demand.We Abba fans are still here and we still LOVE them for all they did for us.

So strange. The night of the Eurovision in Brighton, I went out for a meal to celebrate my best friend's 13th birthday. We are Brightonians. Afterwards, her father drove slowly through the Pavilion gardens (cars were allowed then) and we parked right outside the main doors of the Brighton Dome. We listened to what was going on just a few feet away from us, on the car radio.

The first time ABBA grabbed my attention was in the summer of 1974 as an 11 year old. The local New York City radio station was receiving such an incredible number of requests to play the song Waterloo that they played it THREE TIMES IN A ROW!! Lol 😀

Фрида бросила его после его измены. Никто не застрахован от дурных поступков. Пожалел не раз. Но Анни-Фрид заслуживала большего. Ничего не потеряла, встретила своего принца. Стала Принцессой. И даже после его трагического ухода любима другим мужчиной.

They all look so wonderful I will probably never get to their age. You can tell though that they are all set in their own ways now. Especially with not making arrangements to celebrate in the evening. Trust Benny boy to let that one slip out 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for this collection. It was a beautiful occasion for all of them, which is why it's a shame Agnetha was the only group member not to bring any family or friends with her....only her bodyguard. But perhaps she prefers it that way. She looks happy, and that's what is important. Benny brought his son Ludvig and daughter-in-law. Frida had a van full of loved ones (partner Henry, stepdaughter, daughter-in-law, Gorel). Bjorn was accompanied by partner Christina and someone named Eloise (not sure the relation...anybody know?).

Frida fell in love and married into European Royalty. Having been cruelly dumped and divorced by Benny during his alcoholism. He's now sober but doesn't ever seem particularly happy. Then her daughter was killed in a car addident, and her Beloved husband died of cancer whilst still a young man Her life has not been easy.

@alexioverdo5225 There is no doubt this lovely lady has suffered. I hope she is aware that she remains loved and respected by so many. One of my personal favourite ABBA songs on which Frida sings lead is "I Let The Music Speak" Like so many ABBA songs, it is not easy to sing but, for me, it is an epic performance by an epic vocalist. I saw ABBA live in 1976 and again in 1979 and they remain my favourite concerts. They were magnificent.

With alittle cosmetic surgery, to smooth out and improve, what nature has, naturally taken away, with alittle tuck here, a few nips there. Could very well mark, abbas long awaited real life world comeback tour. Maybe even tweek a few chords here or to snip or whatever there vocally. If some other surgical procedure can assist our livlies, there too. I think that a big capital. "X" marks the spot, in a whole new chapter, into Anyetta, Bjorn, Benny and. Annafrid, frida. Abba personsonifyed, new career adventures. ✝️
