Schön zu sehen, dass sich JAY auch mal wieder einen ABBA Song anhört und beurteilt !!! 👍👍👍 Habe ihn zwar schon Emotionaler erlebt, aber es kann und muss ja nicht alles gleichermaßen gefallen !!! Als die vier Schweden im vergangenen Jahr nach 40 jähriger Pause wieder Aktiv wurden, war dass so ein Hipe, es verging kein Tag ohne neue Nachrichten, AGNETHA, BJÖRN, BENNY UND FRIDA waren in aller Munde !!! Und heute, 6 Monate später ..... hat sich fast schon wieder alles aufgelöst, so ist dass wohl "normal " in dieser Schnelllebigen Zeit !!! SCHADE UND TRAURIG GLEICHERMAßEN !!! 🤔 THANK YOU DEAR JAY FOR THIS ABBA REACTION !!! 👏👏👏

Hello again Jay so nice to see you with more ABBA "Little things" (2021) it is a very soft melody with a nice reflection on Christmas morning is one of the simplest songs on the new album Voyage Frida sings it sweetly and at the end the Stockholm Children's Choir joins (as in 1979 in the song "I have a dream") ABBA did a new special official video to "Little things " more conceptual, with Children as protagonists ABBA decided to edit this video and release it as a Christmas single, as part of a campaign for UNICEF As with "Chiquitita" in 1979, ABBA decided to donate its royalties to UNICEF too In these álbum Voyage there's a special song at the end: "Ode to Freedom" it's ABBA orquestral sound

This caught me off guard… the ending especially is so nostalgic, and immediately took me back to the simple Christmases when I was little. Very sweet… made me cry.

Thanks for the ABBA. I like it a lot. But I can see how the young folks would think it's not uptempo enough. But like they kids say at the end "like my grandma sings".

Still hope someday you'll do these two iconic bangers that miss from your Abba playlist,"Waterloo"(their international breakthru 1974 worldwide smash) and another huge one, "Super Trouper"(of course) from 1980.

I've got no idea how or where to ask you to react to a song...but I just heard a song that I've never heard of before by The Bee Gees ( thought I had heard all of their songs), it's very different, especially Robin's voice (took me by surprise!). I'd love to hear your thoughts about it....I believe it was released in 1966 and it's titled Monday's Rain...hope you will listen to it and do a reaction. Thanks

I think in general, newer Christmas songs that don’t employ a proliferation of the words “merry” or “Christmas” or the sound of jingle bells in the instrumentation, will on the whole not sound “Christmassy”. I dare say songs like Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire ie The Christmas Song, or Merry Christmas Darling, on first release or listening, didn’t sound Christmassy but eventually did due to its association with the season. I’m not sure if Little Things will ever reach that stature, but I think if it is played more and more over the years in December, it will start to sound like a bona fide festive tune. 😆

Suggestion: since it’s Mother’s Day, you might check out “I Am Your Child” by Barry Manilow. Barry says it’s the first “real” song he wrote with his friend lyricist Marty Panzer. It was written for a movie, but he also included it on his first album in 1973. It was also used years later on the Murphy Brown TV show, with Barry making an appearance on the show.

That was really nice jay.👍. I just watched a video. Where the Bee gees. Was giving abba. A.n. Award,. I forgot what for. And the ex. Husband &. Wife. I don't know their names. But they didn't even look at each other hardly. They felt so cold I. Felt it. 🌡️. So do you know if their splits where that awful??? Love you jay

surely you saw a video from the year 2010 when ABBA was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame the brothers Barry & Robin Gibb were the ones who introduced them Benny & Frida were representing ABBA thank GOD the four got together in 2016 and finally gave us the new album Voyage in 2021 and in a few weeks the new ABBAtars concerts in London start big hug from Buenos Aires Argentina
