The song is about Agnetha and Bjorns Daughter Linda Elin Ulvaeus growing up right before their very eyes.

The group Chicago contributed the horn section, in exchange for the Bee Gees' lending their vocals to some Chicago tracks.

Not one of their big hits, but one of their best. Stunning lyrics by John Bettis, great arrangement and music by brother Richard, and hauntingly gorgeous vocal by Karen. This is one of my favorites!

The BeeGees were known by many for their interest in what was going on around them in the world and they always wanted to in some way help the less fortunate and get others to do the same, and I feel they expressed this through their music. I also think they are trying to get the message across that " children going down" meant those children who are suffering in different ways. And once you show a little love to some they start to trust a little and when a few see, then more will come around, "and more .souls are found. Those children don't have to fear the empty darkness anymore.

This was before Barry found his falsetto and he is at full stretch in his head voice here. In normal voice (chest/head) Robin naturally sings higher and takes over so Barry sings louder. He drowns Robin in his part here. I prefer the voices of both of the twins over their older brother.

Excellent and informative reaction. I also loved those horns, the orchestra the dark lyrics of this ''pop murder ballad'' and of course Tom's powerful voice. But Delilah definitely was the one that was killed as she was no longer able to laugh at him and he was waiting for the cops to bust down the door.

I wonder how many people realize that Barry lost his voice as a child for two full years after being horribly burned. I believe that God gave them all back to him and he has been sharing them with the world ever since.

♪♫ _Do I really see what's in her mind?_ _Each time I think I'm close to knowing,_ _she keeps on growing_ _Slipping through my fingers all the time_ ♫♪ I always find that part very moving. As young children, months and years are an eternity of adventures and learning about life ... ... and so, we are blissfully unaware of how our parents try to grasp onto those precious years that to them pass by so much quicker. ♥
