I recently had to have my best friend of 15 years, 2 months and 9 days, put to sleep! He was my world and such a fun, caring and loving boy. I miss him so much. Unfortunately it's part of owning a dog but it doesn't make it any easier. Staffy;s are amazing pets, beautiful souls too. Hopefully there's a place in paradise for all the lost ones to be running free!

We too lost our staffie just a few weeks ago. She was our best friend and a loyal companion. Its very hard to say goodbye!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my staffy to cancer last year but her smile will always remain in my memory.

For 15 years and 4 months, my precious Abby has been my shadow, my constant companion, my best friend, my earth angel. And Saturday August 20, 2016 we had to say good-bye. She had a wonderful, long, happy life filled with more love and pampering than you can imagine. And, in return, she gave us an abundance of love and joy. Nothing has, or ever will, love me as fiercely or deeply as this sweet girl. Her heart knew no boundaries. She passed away very peacefully under the shade of the olive tree in our front garden, just after 1:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon. I kept kissing her and telling her how much I love her until she took her final breath. Our hearts are shattered.

I always come back and watch this video every now and again ❤️ i have a Staffy who is going yo turn 9 this year, we have just this past week found out that he has cancer that is under his armpit, because of the size of it we aren’t going to be able operate. We are going to let him continue his life for however long that is, being loved by us, spoilt with all the other dogs we have that he loves.

My Staffordshire Bull terrier has 10Years of a good amazing life. 2week ago she got diagnosed with cancer... Since then i spent every time i had with her as she had days to weeks to live however not months.. My dog Tessa looked very very similar to Abby! Its so nice to see this video! We had to put her to sleep today at 5:10pm.. She went to sleep happy! I told her to wait for me up there and spare me a place and im 17 now and 7 when i got her! I was closer with her then my friends!! She would sleep in my bed only every night but as time passed by within these weeks i had to help her around the house and up onto the bed and it breaks my heart! -Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the best dogs! -Connor Riley.

That was PRECIOUS!! We took in an American Staffordshire Bull Terrier about 16 mos. ago....my partner has never been a dog person, and these two are now INSEPARABLE! He's one of the SMARTEST dogs I've ever had, too! This pup was house trained in 3 weeks, a record for any puppy I've ever had; my Bassett Hounds were the HARDEST to house train. He takes food so gently from your fingers, he's got a huge heart and he loves to cuddle with anyone! This is why I am still regularly surprised when other people give us dirty looks and cross to the other side of the street when they spot him! This guy is the type of dog who would show the burglar where all the valuables were, and then help pack it up for him, too! But, all I get is nasty "He's a PIT BULL!" Remarks from people we meet.

I lost both my staffy’s at Christmas (2021). Richo was 15 and Ruby 13. After Richo died Ruby just lost the will to carry on on died Jan 1st 2022… Oh, Alfie is arriving on March 9th and yes he’s a beautiful black staffy, they’re the best.. Nice upload, beautiful dog

Just got a Staffy a few weeks ago. He's 10 weeks now. The sweetest, calmest puppy I've ever known. I can't go anywhere without every single person falling in love with him. He just wants to cuddle all day. If you can find a Staffy, get one.

Thank-you for posting your sweet video. We are long term dog lovers too. We started out with being pug owners in 1997, and we adopted our mini Boxer Lilly in 2014 from the shelter. Last year we said goodbye to our old pug, who was almost 13 when he passed away. Lilly was so heartbroken. She actually jumped in the car with my kids to ride up to the vets the day we decided to put him down. For over a year we waited and decided to wait for the right dog to come along before taking on another one. On June 3rd, we took in a lost dog, found as a stray, and decided to give her a foster home until we could decide what to do with her. Bella is a brown and white English Staffordshire Bull terrier and acted like the perfect dog from day 1. She was house broken, very gentle and had had pupppies earlier this year. We surmised that she was either abandoned or escaped from somewhere but no one seemed to miss her and she had no chip and she also had a bad skin infection that I began to treat right away. My pug had the same skin condition too and I still had a fresh supply of his supplements that were never used before his death. We have had Bella almost a month now and wouldn't trade her for the world. She is a great dog. Loves kids, and just adapted so well to our family. They really are like big pugs!

I watched this video every nite before going to bed for the past 2 months wishing I had a pup. Searched Calif. dog rescues and found an 8 week old pittie at Ark Animal Rescue in Los Angeles yesterday and applied for it and got her. I pick her up in a few days after she is spayed. Im soooo happy now and will hopefully put her adventures on Utube to share. Thank you for sharing.

Absolutely adorable dog - I despise how this beautiful breed is maligned and demonized, anyone who has spent anytime with a Staffy will know they are a friendly, happy dog who just want to play and are one of the most affectionate breeds I have ever known.

My mum and brother are more keen on smaller cuddly dogs,but I've always loved breeds of dogs that people tend to overlook. I have an American staffy myself, and since she came into my home at 3 months old I can't imagine life without her. The unconditional love I get any time I leave and come back. I can't believe now the bad name they have received due to the owners that mistreat these dogs! As far as I'm concerned they are the best dog to have and I've grown up with a few. Mine is loving and protective. May I have just as much enjoyment with mine as you had with yours!

We've just lost our old girl, she became our third child 13 and a half years ago. Her siblings, now grown and fled the nest are distraught, her ten year old companion, an EBT, is lost and me......I just wanted to say what a powerful video. Cancer is so pernicious, it took our girl, not without a fight mind. When you've been lucky enough to be loved by a Stafford, you've known true love and that will ensure wonderful memories forever.Thank you for reminding me.

Only breed for me. I have been brought up with Staffies since 1957. I feel your pain now as I imagine this beautiful girl is no longer with you or she would be 17/18? We are soon to lose our dear girl who is nearly 16 but not fair to keep her going. They bring you so much love and so many laughs. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. I have 2, Sadie and Bella, got them by accident when they needed rehoming, was aprehensive as had read all the stories, they are the most loving softest dogs I have ever owned, I will never have another breed again, would have 10 if I had the room. If you see a vicious staffie, then you are loking at the wrong end of the lead!!

In my 68 years I have to say our Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Buster who we lost in 91, was my favorite, other than a Coonhound-Beagle mix named Mugs who we lost this year. I guess those two dogs tie as my favorite. Anyway Buster an outstanding animal , just outstanding, to this day I still grieve for her. She was a very loving but very brave doggie, she even climbed trees, not kidding. Staffordshire Terrier dogs are awesome.

I made the choice to go with this breed, purchased my beloved Staff at 10 weeks old after watching your beautiful portrait of Abby and I have never regretted it. She's four years old now and still has so much personality and is of very high calibre canine intellect and intuition. She is higher maintenance than any other dog I have owned in the context of high energy levels but she is just an incredible dog with such strong will. Tenacious. Persevering. Protective. What a lovely video! You just made my wife cry, we had a staffy for 16 years "Ben" and he looked very similar to Abby, except he had a white chest area. Listening to your dog make the exact same noises as our Ben made, brought back lots of happy memories.

Staffies are FABULOUS dogs! My 3 year old boy is sweet, loving and gentle and we couldn't love him more. Abby was happy because of YOU. You gave her a good loving home where she was happy and secure. When you're ready, go find another one to love and he or she will help to fill that hole in your heart. Then you'll look at Abby's picture and smile. You did something good - she KNEW how much she was loved. Again, when you're ready, give another dog the blessing of your love and care.
