HA! Glad to see I'm not the only person who watches his coverage, after the fact, from far outside his coverage area. Greg Fischel is OK here in Eastern NC, but Captain Suspenders is frigging unbelievable. And a true civil servant - hell of a guy, and damn good at what he does.

This was with Hurricane Harvey which already caused tornadoes and Flooding damage in Houston and Texas plus Louisiana and than Mississppi, Alabama and Tennessee and also there was a Tornado watch for North Carolina from Harvey

Start at 26:45 At 3:40 p.m. CDT, the Reform/Fayette Tornado would touch down about 1 mile west of the center Reform, AL (technically in city limits). This long-tracked tornado would be on the ground for over 1 hour. Strongest damage was in NW part of Reform, AL, on 4th Avenue NW and also on 9th Avenue NW. Rating: EF2 Max Winds: 115 mph Width: 600 yards Total Miles: 31 miles (1 hour 6 minutes) Average Speed: 28 mph Counties: Pickens/Lamar/Fayette Counties Start: 0.8 mile West of Reform, AL. Just E of the 7th Avenue SW & 11th Avenue SW intersection or West of Elementary School. End: 6 miles E/SE of Bluff, AL, at 4:46 p.m. CDT. Just W/SW of U.S. Hwy 43 & Housh Chapel Road intersection.

This is a perfect example of an ''invisible funnel''. There was clearly a tornado there, just not visible. That's why when they see a wall cloud from very far away + a clear signature on radar they consider there is a tornado on the ground even tho there is no funnel visible.

It depends on what way the station wants to show the velocity. For me, if you can see where the Tornado is, they're good.

On the tornado impact, what number is the threshold for being significant?

I think an F3 and higher are considered severe tornadoes, but any tornado is potentially very dangerous.

@@APOCALYPSE_X-MEN EF 2 and EF 3 are strong Tornadoes, EF 4 and EF 5 are violent. Not sure what constitutes a long track tornado though
