If you believe the support for Trump is solely based on personality and popularity, then I think YOU are the one who´s naive. I´d go as far as saying that Trump is so successful DESPITE his personality. He´s the exact opposite of a nice guy, he´s not especially attractive, he (the bold, over-confident millionaire) embodies everything that the people who support him the most would normally hate, yet they don´t. And the reason for that is policy and substance in his political stance. Ask Trump supporters - most of them have many valid points for supporting him. (Something that cannot be said about Hillary supporters). And whether Trump´s campaign is all fake? I cannot prove it isn´t but there are two very strong arguments suggesting he´s real: he´s self-funding to a large extent, and he didn´t have to do it (he already had it all, and his life would undoubtedly had been more pleasant if he hadn´t).
