Hey guys! I want to introduce you to a new term - Abdul Effect! on Nissan Skyline GT-R 34 price in Japan. As most of you guys understand, our friend and customer - Abdul has been buying lots of Skyline GT-R R34s from Japan to import to Australia in the recent years, and believe it or not, this have had a pretty good effect in the market prices for those Skyline GT-R R34 price in Japan. We decided to shot this video before we ship out those 4 of his Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 VSPEC IIs to Australia. And guys sorry we made this video in late 2021 and posting it online after almost 2.5 years. I know such a big delay in editing up this videos, and posting online for you guys and sorry about this lol. Abdul Effect still goes on in the market as he is still our one of the biggest buyers in 2024! Awesome video as always Doston. R34 GT-Rs are absolutely legendary especially in pearl white. Pearl white in my opinion really shows off the GT-R body lines.

As a owner of one R34 GTR and I understand the business part for you.... But I would like to know what you personally think, Doston, that so many of these iconic Japanese cars are leaving Japan and they don't keep them in the home country where they belong as a legacy?

Money talks if a Japanese person in Japan wants one they will buy one already. Doston isn't just selling cars to foreigners the fact that Japanese people don't buy them is because your average Japanese aren't into cars. I work with a lot of Japanese people not one I have met is into cars. A lot of them don't even know what a Skyline GTR is, a Supra, or any Honda type R, etc. If you ask an average American what's a Ford Mustang, they will know what it is, and it's also a cultural thing that Japanese people don't really value secondhand stuff they rather buy brand new with new technology.

Am I missing something? Only the super rich are buying up the R34 GTR, nobody else is buying them. Once the “coolness” is over (in 2 years or less) the prices will drop and they will sit. Just like people stopped buying the R32 and R33 GTR, you can even give those away. 30k all day long. The R34 craze has 2 years max before they become a 70k car but people are paying over 150k now. Ouch, these are not investment at all.

@@Shakazulu0 when ever you get “rich” the R34 will be affordable under 70k. So don’t worry. The R32 and R33 GTR prove my point, values have dropped in half in just 18 months and/or they can’t find a buyer at all. No buyer really makes the cars worthless. Nobody is buying the R34 with the intent to keep them, only flip them and soon when 80% of the R34 GTR are in the USA for the purpose of selling them, they will just sit with no offers and collect dust.

This shop doesn't care about the average consumer... they only care about high rollers. But due to the FnF franchise made this car overly hyped. Give it 3-4 years when seeing them all in other countries will eventually get old and a small niche of ppl will care. But not to suffice a stupid overcharge... once the R34 hype train is over JDMGlobal won't be able to overcharge other ppl anymore

We sell this complete kit for the R34 for $5000, the R tune hood, nismo front bumper, z-tune fenders, 2 piece side skirts with extensions, rear bumper with spats and the wing with carbon blade, all for 5k. This guy said the hood is $5000 and a 3 year wait😂😂. Y’all been buying this guys mansions and Lamborghinis for years, all off of hype.

Lol. Explain me how the economics of your business work when you CANT get full nismo aero for 5k from factory itself, forget about waiting 3-4 years in the line for your products to be delivered. Just a NISMO RTUNE sold for 1,800,000 JPY at yahoo auctions 2 days ago. That means just this rtune bonnet alone is 12k usd in the market now.

@@Garagedefend your point of how much something is that can’t be purchased. That is my point. If you can’t buy it, it has no value and no point. My kits are available now, right now, 5k for the complete kit I described. Your point of a kit you can’t ever actually own, that is pointless, or you can wait 3 years. Think about what you are saying…
