I have samsung s7 still after 5 years and now thinking to buy Nokia RX20.My first smartphone was Nokia too 5800 express music back in 2009

My first Nokia was the Lumia 820 and currently and also the latest Nokia is a 4 year old 6.1, which I've dropped so many times, yet it keeps working, battery lasts about a day if used frequently so hasn't changed much since new and only last month, a hairline crack appeared diagonally on the screen after dropping it on a wooden floor. I guess it comes down to the sturdy build so next one will be a XR version. Thank you for your reply and for a cracking video 👍

That's the beauty of these devices. They definitely feel better put together than most, and their lightweight software can stay running decently quickly even after years of usage. The XR20 is a great device. It's my current daily driver. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience :)

@@VinDieselS70 my fist nokia was 3310. I've been using E72 till 2017. But no smartphones from nokia. They are just too expensive for what they offer. First Lumias were famous for great camera quality. But after that they just got more and more disappointing. There's just no reason to stick to that company. And my Volvo XC70? It's surprisingly small inside, despite being a large car on the outside. It already had a major failure resulting in engine swap. It is noisy. And it is very expensive in maintenance. But overall it still is quite reliable and comfy, so I will keep it as long as the regulations will not ban all old diesel engines.

Yep happy to buy from Nordic country. Won't but an indian phone because their people are smelly.

I also have the brilliant james bond no-time-to-die 8.3 nokia, which has a very competent zeiss camera setup with cinema mode (albeit with a bad camera app which I substitute occasionally with Gcam), great looks, zero speed lag, great battery life, large 6.7 screen and clean android one (12), BUT would definitely like a non slip body (absolutely needs a case), higher screen refresh, lighter, and most importantly better night camera. I don't think either of these phones are really that much of a step forward so maybe I'll wait for the next x series phone.

the only annoying thing about my 8.3 is when I lay it down it always rotates to landscape

@@TheExpeditionUK Yep. Have had a similar experience. It rotates into landscape mode way too fast. But hey, while annoying, all in all it's a relatively small inconvenience.

@@JustMe-yy7uc Depends whether you need the rugged features of the XR20 or not. If not the X20 is a much better deal. I would get the the 6GB/128GB version of the XR20 if I were you ( Nokia Website) if you decide to get the XR20. Remember the XR20 is one of the largest and heaviest phone available

The X cover pro is NOT a rugged phone. Wortst "rugged" phone i'v ever had. Kick of on humid pockets. Eefused to charge if you even think about a drop of rain. Turns of if you drop it down 3 cm into your pocket. Hate this phone more than anything, and now consider XR 20 or Doogee phones.

Another phone with removable battery plus 5 years guarantee and upgradable components is the latest Fairphone , it is however expensive and not suitable for the US because of the absence of some LTE Bands . It is ok for EU and most of Asia

One of those days I will have access to pixel devices, and I shall do that comparison :)

@@praveenaa3256Very happy with it! I ordered it directly from Nokia. Price was €560 i think for the 128GB. Daily stuff like internet, youtube, tiktok etc work flawlessly. Screen is nice, even in bright sunlight. Games work well, but soundprocessing is glitchy sometimes in "busy" parts of gaming, giving stuttering sounds. Fingerprintscanner/on button takes some getting used to (used a Nokia 8.1 before), but worked well for me after a few days. The placement isn't ideal though, it easily unlocks the phone when you slip it into your pocket. I guess i hold the side of my phone with my thumb while putting it away. So hold it by the screen whilst putting it in your left pocket. As a typical guy, the main camera works fine for me, makes very nice landscapephotoos. The selfiecam is only ok, but not bad. The housing is the best ever. Hard to descibe, one must hold it to feel it. The useless (to me) google assistant button was switched off within an hour. As a carmechanic i like it that i can wash it off with water and that the ringtone is audible in my workshop. It even works with my neoprene divinggloves, but that takes some small effort when typing. Also funny to see how nearly everone is interested in seeing a new Nokia again. The best thing is to see peoples faces go 😱😱😱 when i show them my new phone and "accidentally" drop it 😈 Overall very very happy with the XR20

@@AbdullaZaki That's nice.. My old phones had very diffrent battery performance with No sim vs 1 SIM vs 2 SIM. So I thought like it will be affected little bit on other performance as well.

my wife now has a problem of choosing what to buy after 7.2. The camera was the greatest disappointment with slow focus, often making blurry photos. Now XR20 maybe will be the same on main camera and worse on selfie. X20 can be better with main and the same on everything else. Still no OIS. 2 years apart and so little (if any) progress. That's just sad. And there is a huge drawback - instead of having dualsim+SD card the new phones have only hybrid dualsim.

How's your experience so far? My brother is now using a Nokia 5.4 that has already been updated to Android 11 and he's loving it.

@@nelapatilavaprasad You don't have to as the display most likely won't shatter, but it will still scratch like most displays.

I've done a similar test with the X10 (X20 is identical internally) and it managed to perform really well even after 1 hour of testing the CPU :)

Yup, I've tested 2 different units with about the same results. It's one of my favourite aspects of the phone. Have you restored all apps from an old backup? Sometimes an app will get stuck in the background and won't show up in your battery stats

Using the Nokia 6.1 plus, waiting for a great phone to come from Nokia. And sadly, no good phones were made after Nokia 7.2, their marketing team and product teams are failing badly right now. In a market like India, they had many chances to bounce back but I don't think they care now.

@@aslianujsharma It sounds like you're under estimating how much better the SD480 on the X10/X20 is compared to the SD660 is on the 7.2 :)

No, I'm not underestimating any phone, and it's not just about processors. We need a 'complete' phone from Nokia which ticks all the right boxes in all departments. In India, we don't have any options given by HMD. It's either XR20 (way too overpriced at 47k inr) or all the HD+ phones with mediatek G series processors.

Nokia's biggest issue is their weak marketing. It is improving though :)

Windows Phone was such a nice system. Very responsive, much better than android on a respective hardware. Unfortunately it was killed by lack of apps. And it took some corporations with it. Even some which used to make smartphones before iPhone era (Nokia E series, HTCs with Windows Mobile). Nokia just like Ericsson's phone division was just too late on the modern smartphone market.

You definitely won't get better quality overall from a pixel :) Western tech media loves to give the Pixel series a lot more credit than it deserves

Try out Parrot Gcam on the XR20 then you will get really great night shots! Be sure to fiddle with the auto white balance settings or you will get green photos.
