screen is definately not robust. Dropped and it shatterd alright from less than 1 meter.

Nokia doing really durable phones anyway: I tried really hard to kill my Nokia 7.2 - my unit its bend in "s" shape (due to keep the phone in back pocket and try to straight the bend afterwards) But unfortunately battery start swells and pushing screen and back panel away - after this back panel is starting to unglue from frame, and same for screen. After last drop i finally broke... camera lens cover - screen is intact. Phone still working fine! But is no longer water resist.

@@stanley3647 If the battery is swelling, then it may blow at any time. It's incredibly dangerous to keep thing in ANY pocket.

​@@stanley3647if its getting swelled. means you over charged it, or used wrong watt charger. Lithuims are very sensitive to those things. This is also why im waiting for nokia g42 replace able batteries are a must. Thats why i hate non repairable phone. Dont like all these fancy phone. So my hopes are nokia brings the g42 to west. Ive always hated water proof phones. Nokias have always been rugged enough for me.

but any manufacturers already give 4 years updates, and this one on sd480 will start to slow down much earlier, then you will forget about these 4 years and throw it out earlier..

@@vladmir7426 SD480 outperforms the SD670, its solidly mid tier, nothing ground braking but certainly not as weak as ppl seem to think.

How is the camera on this?

Personally, I'm fine with 64 GB, it keeps the price down. 60hz is also fine for me personally since it keeps the battery life up. You have to realize that the rugged phone market is still playing around the mid-tier, until now with Motorola, Samsung and Nokia coming in to the market there was only really CAT or some China-crap that filled the niche. So give it a few years and I have no doubt we will see more premium phones being implemented in to a rugged skeleton.

Yep, nice stable phones but with shit cameras. I have 6.1 and want to update to another nokia, too bad camera's still shit. But I prefer stable durable phone with average camera than pretty toy that'll fall off after couple months of use... Still, I wish I had better camera.

Well, it's kind of a whole different company since the M$ thing happened. The current company doesn't have the advantage of all the old Nokia tech, no?

@@shahrkarimsrk I think I've had a charging issues but it fixed itself when left to charge slowly overnight.

@@shahrkarimsrk I've had charging issues with my 8.3. I switched over to an 18W fast charger and the phone charges fine now. Not a fix but a good workaround IMHO.

@@AnotherSkyTV I can believe that. Always see complains about unstable bug from MIUI for Poco phones. At least Xiaomi phones are really popular in the custom ROM world, so all is not lost.

For anyone curious I got it and it does support the above. Got a case for the phone and the google button never goes off with accidental presses. Have to intentionally press it for it to come up. After about a month of use I really like it. Only downside from nexus 6p is the smaller screen resolution but everything else is on par or better.

Bruh 480 5g is a new chipset it's on par with 700 series it's better than 600 series 480 will be more efficient battery then 700.

Who said they are back? Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 still on Android 10 after waiting almost a year. HMD Global said the main reason for delay is not being part of developer build. I will probably never buy HMD phones anymore.

@@petrisalonen4893 X20 got that dev build. 6.2 and 7.2 are problematic from the start so I don't have much expectation. Not to mention they were shifting software teams here and there during that time so that's the reason why they lost access for developer program

@@petrisalonen4893 you're welcome. tbh it's pretty sad to see a lot of users of x.1 and x.2 got disappointed as 2017 series were great. afaik for x.4 series only 3.4 has issues, not to mention they are discontinued quickly with 5.4 taking its place with a permanent price cut. the new CGX series seems to be more stable. XR20 doesn't seem to have the trace of a certain person in hmd global given it maximizes the SD 480 features while SD 765G in 8.3 5G is crippled by missing wifi 6 and USB2.0 instead of 3.0/3.1. I guess we'll have to wait longer to see if they do keep getting better

Since you'll all wondering: 4G performance? Honestly don't know. I live in Stockholm, Sweden, so I'm usually connected to 5G which gives me up to 400 Mbit/s down and 100 up. But this is also operator dependent. A bit disappointing is that if you use the XR20 as a WiFi hub, you get a more moderate WiFi speed. Is this better on other mobiles? WiFi performance? Again, nothing I noticed or cared about. Right now, at my office, I get abuot 450 Mbit/s both up and down. 60 Hz screen? Well, this is probably a battery saving choice of Nokia. I don't play wargames, but I have noticed some stutter, which is to be expected. Charger performance? I do miss fast and wireless charging. A matter of cost, I guess. But the battery lasts for ever (almost). Easely more than a full day, depending of what you use the XR20 for. Camera? Don't buy Nokia XR20 if you want to compete with more expensive mobiles. Not the strongest point of this device, I must confess. OS Updates? Well, it's now March 2022, and Nokia has not yet sent out Android 12 to the XR20. Still on 11 with Dec security patch. My world won't crumble because of this, but there might be a few early adopters out there that will be disappointed. Sturdyness? I demostrated this to some friends by carelessly throwing the XR20 on the floor, and there is no mark what so ever. Then I dropped the phone on the pavement (side walk) in Stockholm, when I missed my back pocket. And lo and behold, the glass cracked! Nokia fixed this within 8 days, but I was a bit suprised, to say the least. So now I must get a glass protection. Any other questions?

@@pranav3866 Yep, spec wise the A76 cpu core is a big jump compared to older Snapdragon 4xx. Its a gen up compared to the SD670 (on the pixel 3a) which uses A75.

It can be disabled but not reassigned sadly. Haven't found a workaround either.

I have had the XR20 for a while now (with the g.assistant button disabled from day 1). I like it a lot. I am not too fond of the fingerprint reader on the button. It is just where your grasp you phone and unless you register every finger surface, you get «too many attempts» far too often. I like the reader on the back of the 8.1 far better than both the screen reader on the 9 (very unstable) and this in the button.

I bought the Nokia phone and using it for 2 months now and I am absolutely satisfied! Clumsy me already dropped it a few times and the phone does not even notice.

The OnePlus 6T, incredibly durable phone

I've had the Armor 2 since 2018, and the rubber almost completely peeled off on the outside, while the lack of updates is beginning to affect which apps I can use. I loved it for the first two years but now I want to switch to a different brand. It reeks of planned obsolescence to me. I hope your UleFone is more durable than mine was.

I've had armor 12 for about 7 months. Fast and good phone but... Camera has rattled apart and broke my screen yesterday
