To my knowledge this is the best recording of this piece in existence, and also my favorite by far. I wish we had one of Abe herself doing it in full but honestly this is probably as good as it gets.

Anybody know if/where I can get a download or CD of this performance? Yeah, there's YT to MP3 but that's gross and KZfaq's compression is audible in this upload. I'd rather have a lossless/uncompressed audio track if possible. Any help is appreciated!

Hi . Why do you play percussion 1 from conversations in the forest ( by Abe ) ? is this how the rhapsody is ?

yes the rhapsody incorporates some elements from prism and conversation in the forest!

conversation in the forest itself is largely based on prism, hence the striking similarities between the three.

Where did the part of 5:30-7:51 come from? I don't remember having this part the first time I met the rhapsody 14 years ago.

The usual riddles here and lack of information - the composer at least seems to be Keiko Abe. I am surprised that this constant lack of information does not bother anybody. Seems like most people are quite content with any piece of music thrown at them. Luckily, at least the conductor has more precise instructions in front of him. Why are we not more informed ?
