Gil-Yes, it would be nice if these guys would explain things at least a little bit when they throw them out. I did look it up on Wikipedia and it was pretty interesting against the Nazi's! If you are interested, it is on Wikipedia.

Haynenen should have hightailed it for parts unknown in the US when he got the call to return to Moscow. He could have melted into the American Northwest-the Dakotas and Minnesota and Upper Michigan are full of Finns and he could have slid right in. It was stupid of him to even leave the country.

"Most notable" depiction of the "Hollow Nickle Case" was in the (fairly recent) Spielberg film? Clearly, you've never heard of The FBI Story (starring Jimmy Stewart), based on a book of the same name by Don Whitehead.

He was also "taken down the ship to Europe by FBI agents" - the whole thing is cheaply produced crp and may be an auto reader reading from bad text. .. Lot of it about these days. I have a feeling I heard that the split nickel story was false and created to fool the FBI on the source of information that found out Fisher - Hayennen.

Это же искусство. Хотя, в основе правда. И эти и другие очень уважаемые люди учавствовали. А уж каким образом, кто скажет. Никто никому из определённых кругов не докладывал. Не всё так, но сделано с большим вниманием к известной личности во многих странах, а с 2015 года и в целом в мире.
