There’s no such thing as caste as this linguistic term was taken from Portuguese as their own system have a caste system based society !! Hierarchies are created but according to varna but yeah , priest class in no matter which civilisation got to taken hold of that power , as Nietzsche said it’s a constant power struggle between master and slave society !!

The manusmriti is mistranslated by british. And caste is not decided by birth but by varnas. Even in bhagavat geetha chapter 4 sloka 13 it tells the caste of the person is based on varna but not birth.

I would like know if there's has been any person, who was born to so called upper caste parents (esp. Brahman) and yet as he/she found her niche in shudra/atishudra professions, was recognized under that particular varna for rest of his/her life.

@@swapnilrb7370 drop this word caste it's meaningless. I recommend Hindu university America channel on KZfaq, they have a couple videos of this word caste and it's analysis. They have broken down how this was used against Hindus from late 19th century to now.

@@swapnilrb7370 if he/she accept their varna . yes! But the problem is no one knows these kind of thing exist but no upper caste parents don't want their child to change their varna as they will also the community security.

@@srikrishnavasanth3895 So there's no example of changing varna (Brahman to Shudra-Atishudra) in thousands of years of history of this religion..(!!) Then why do they all beat their chest n say varna depends upon your karma (profession)?? Height of hypocrisy

HUGE RESPECT FOR YOUR SURNAME Abhijit sir. I really respect when i see a person using her/his mother's identity along with father's. I really wish that it is normalized in our culture to pass on mothers identities like caste, surname, religion, native language etc to the next generation. Because thats how people gonna want to have daughter as much as son. And treating women as property leading to honor killings will stop.

Pls guys example of Ambedkarji's life is a good example of the caste discrimination. The elite , uneducated , illiterate Indian masses still suffer and endorse the caste system since the time of Manu. My parents also tried to educate us about of caste purity when I married my mon Indian wife. I returned to India in 2016, after having lived in many countries abroad.I was appalled at the caste divide in rural villages, in cities as well. While travelling the length and breath in the country for more then 5 years in, trains, planes there was always very subtle enquiry about my caste background. Look at the matrimonial news ads. Let's not white wash the fact that it's the biggest obstacle blocking our unity along with lack of education for more the 40-50 % of the general population. One solution is all Brahmin or any other names with caste ids , surnames like Iyer, Mitra, Sharma, Jain Mahato etc ought to be expunged from our ID documents and birth certificates, for starters.. No matrimonial ads shd allow caste id related matches. A common language like Sanskrit our spiritual language for all India shd be mandated and made compulsory in schools starting at elementary level. English and regional languages shd be also mandated. Hindi can't fill the vacuum as a national language. But as it's more commonly spoke in most parts of N and also rest of India should be made a optional vernacular language . Economically we need to increase the purchasing power of common people. Minimum guarantee of food, education, medicine, clothes and housing along with job opportunities, like in Europe or developed countries. The super rich and very wealthy people shd be made to pay higher taxes which shd be used for developing the national infrastructures of the judicial, mass media, law enforcement, educational institutes shd have independent policy making and ruling structures run by experienced people who have been in these respective fields for 20-40 years etc. There should be a standard penal code for all. All religious legal codes should be abolished. The different institutions ( Justice, Education, Military and medical will be accountable to the Government). These institutions should not be under a centralised command structure. How can an Inexperienced minister for Education or Law without the proper credentials or experience make policies for their respective departments, just because they have the appointed portfolios? Decentralised power structures will reduce levels of corruption, mismanagement and miscarriage of justice. Abhijitji is right when he says that we are an archaic democracy. His cleaning toilets while is a good example which helped him personally can be used as an example to portray most educated and upper class or caste Indians.

Caste is a social construct in 2022. Please stop believing in that. Parchotam Sri Ram did gracefully accepted the the ber that were first tasted by Mata Shabri. I think all us should clean toilets some time in our lives to learn to overcome hardships in life. As a student I have washed dishes, cleaned toilets, floors and many other menial jobs before academia. And till today I spare a friendly moment with those who make our lives easier.
