~lol~~I know, right~~I haven't rooted so hard for a contestant to win since Kelly Clarkson~~From day 1 I just knew she would win and become famous~~Three female singers put tears in my eyes~~Kelly Clarkson back in the day, her voice got so much better because she continued vocal lessons and I think she still is~~I miss the days when she she was younger, wild and her videos were awesome~~At least I got to see her in concert in 2007~~She was so awesome and I love how she interacted with the audience~~But I still adore her~~Linda Ronstadt will always be a fave and her songs got me teary eyed~~Still do~~Now we have Abi for this generation~~She has to win~~A million cheers for Abi~~I wish her the best~~💖💖💖~~

She’s amazing and I cried too. When she won I was so happy for her and her family. Most of all I love how her family was so supportive. You just don’t see such support usually they get jelous.

I know, right~~If she doesn't win something is really wrong with this show~~I haven't rooted so hard for an Idol contestant to win for the exception of Kelly Clarkson~~I knew she would win and become famous~~Sure there has been some great talent between "The Voice" and Idol but from both shows the person who should have won, didn't~~Sometimes I think these shows are fixed~~If Abi doesn't win that's o.k. because someone else will pick her up and she won't be commited to Idol~~She'll become famous a lot quicker~~That's how these shows work~~Now, a 1000 + cheers for Abi~~She's one of the best~~💖💖💖~~

Okay Karen, why don’t we just nitpick??!! This is in fact an Elton John song, Sarah Bareilles is not who originally sang it. Abi didn’t sing it like anyone but herself. She’s amazing, her talent is absolutely over the top. This whole entire show is people singing other people’s songs, if that disenchants you, I would encourage you to change the channel. Geeez 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you listen to Sara Bareilles' VERSION of ELTON JOHN'S SONG, you'll see that Abi didn't deviate much. She did a beautiful job (which I said in my original comment) - I just wish she'd given credit where credit is due if she's not going to make it her own. Not sure why you're so upset when I'm just speaking my opinion (an opinion that wasn't even mean. I didn't even say she sucks because she doesn't - she did a beautiful job, she just did a beautiful job with with SARA'S VERSION and passed it off as her own). I don’t think Abi passed it off as her own. It was more Lionel not knowing that Sara’s version existed that pissed me off more.

I think that is a matter of preference and taste… both good performances but personally Angeline’s voice is more throaty ( some may prefer this) but Abi I find is a purer sound!
