The highest compliment I can give Abi is that when I listen to her I get Sara Bareilles vibes. I would invite anyone to watch Sara's cover of Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" (Live From Atlanta) and then come back here and watch Abi again. To me the similarities are undeniable. Abi is just remarkably talented. What a performance.

I find myself counted among millions who have lost someone very close to our hearts. I was staring at one of the last photos of my wife and I together while Abi was singing and tears were freely flowing. She is a true Artist who has the ability to transport me to another place. Absolutely stunning!

@RhondaGreene-dz2kb~~I am so very very sorry you lost your Mom~~I lost mine too in 1999 and she's with me everyday~~Bur the memories will always be with us~~Indeed this song is so very beautiful~~Actually all her songs were amazing~~Abi is very special~~When she sings she puts me in a better world~~She's our winner~~Also listening to her "Brings Me To Life"~~lol~~Literally~~She's an Angel~~If she dosen't win something is very wrong with this show and "The Voice"~~I stopped watching Idol for a while and watched "The Voice"~~In most cases the singers who should have won, didn't~~Gets my blood pressure up~~lol~~I've been watching Idol since day 1 and I said Kelly Clarkson would win~~She just had that something special and I knew she would become famous~~O saw Kelly in concert in 2007 and she was so awesome and funny and interacted with the audiance~~She's always been the real deal~~I still miss her older songs and videos~~But I guess we all have to grow up~~She still sings her older songs and her voice has gotten so much better~~She continued with vocal lessons~~So proud of all her accomplishments~~Abi has that something special as well~~When she sings her voice just enters your heart~~If she dosen't win that's o.k.~~Because someone will snatch her up and she'll be big time~~If she wins she has to be commited to Idol for a while~~Kelly hated that~~She had to be and do what they wanted~~She was so happy when she could think for herself and do things her way~~In any case I wish Abi all the luck, love and happiness she deserves~~Again I'm so very sorry about your Mom~~God Bless you and a million cheers for Abi~~💖💖💖~

thank you abi carter. i'm so happy i'm able to support you. i never knew you personally because of age difference but our families were close when i was young. i remember abi always being a vibrant, energetic, and beautiful person. i will admit, i was skeptical of the song choice at first but it was truly beautiful. it's one of those songs that marks one of the lowest points in my life and i am so truly thankful for this (also sobbing haha). wonderful job ♥️
