About Abi Stumvoll
When Abi Stumvoll was 12 years old she prayed, “If you can teach me how to love myself, I will change the world.” This simple prayer ignited an incredible adventure of uncovering the power of love. Throughout her journey, Abi has seen love conquer the fear and torment that once seemed impossible to overcome. Now Abi Stumvoll travels and teaches others how to encounter unconditional love, become wildly free, and experience abundant life.
Abi crazy-passionate about leading people into life-changing experiences. When she speaks, she communicates with raw honesty and humor because they create an atmosphere for breakthrough. Abi's passion is to help people. When she is not speaking, she is busy running a life-consulting firm with her husband Justin Stumvoll. Abi wants everyone to know that abundant life is possible and that’s why she does what she does.

Lol, why is everyone so angry that God loves us and has a sense of humor. She's addressing the issue that many Christians don't realize how much God loves them. Because if they did, they would love God and there neighbor like He loves us! I can't believe how many Christians are always bickering about other Christians, instead of lifting them up. This sermon was clearly about God's love and sense of humor. If you know God clearly you know He encompasses emotions, and is not always happy, but neither is he always serious. And she was trying to make a point that Christians don't always have to be uptight. It hurts me that fellow Christians would say these things about Bethel. There ministry has blessed me so much. And they are all about Jesus. Stop being petty, it does make God angry. He wants us to unify as a church. God help us!

You know what makes God really angry? When a pastor of a church preaches a false doctrine. When people sit weekly under those teachings and refuse to read the Word for themselves and to use their own discernment. I love you enough to tell you that you need to run, not walk away from Bethel and its false teachings. This is an apostate ministry.

@@Steve-ry8ot Besides treating God, who is holy, as some 16 year old BFF who gets a kick out of her silliness? God does not look at us when he is "in need" of something. God is NEVER in need. God does not need us at all. God loves us. He deserves or love, or worship, and most importantly our respect. Her entire "sermon" revolves around Abi, and her silly schoolgirl ramblings. They insist on taking some scriptures literally (that were actually commands given to other people, such as Matt. 10:8 and John 11:40) and yet they completely IGNORE other passages that are very clearly directed to ALL believers: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths" (Eph. 4:29) "Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving." Well God is awesome as in His grandeur and beauty is above anything that we could possibly know, He is close unless we lose fellowship with Him through our own sinfulness, I don’t really know where she gets “fun” from in the scripture, I would just like a verse noting that trait of God, He is persona which is amazing and terrifying at the same time, as we realize He knows every single wicked thought and deed that we commit, and lastly yes God is so kind, except towards sin where He is perfectly kind yet perfectly wrathful against the sin that we commit, God is kind, even to those that He had to punish for all of eternity in hell. Just some clarifications on who the Bible describes as God.

Steve Okay, here goes: “Oh my God, it’s awesome that you are not serious.” - this is false, God is very much serious. Just look at Nadab and Abihu, Ananias and Sapphira. “I’m so happy that you are in a good mood.” - this is poor Theology Proper. God is what is called impassible... He doesn’t have moods. If He did have moods, His mood towards His creation could change tomorrow and He could decide not to save us... it is rooted in the fact that He is immutable, without change. The same yesterday and today and forever. When we read in Scripture about God being provoked or angry that is called anthropomorphic language. “I picked the right religion” - no, you did not “pick God”, He chose a people for Himself before the foundations of the earth (what’s interesting is later in this video she contradicts herself and calls religion bad and says that we only love because He loved us first... so she even acknowledges that she didn’t “pick” Him) “You are playful” - no, He is not. He is an all consuming fire, He is wrathful, He is loving, He is joyful, He is holy, He is perfect, He is just, He is good, and He is many other things... but playful is in no way how God described Himself.

Well it does say that the second greatest commandment is to love thy neighbor as yourself. So out of all the commandments in the Bible loving yourself is the second most important (along with loving others). You cannot love God properly without loving yourself and others. That verse in 2timothy is referring to people who live to only love and please themselves. She’s pursing love to become whole and healed.

Actually the reason that any of us were born is not because God loved us so much, for we were conceived in sin and thusly were the enemies of God. The reason we were born is so that we could bring God glory and be conformed to the glorious image of His Son Jesus Christ. God did not save you because of how lovable you were, God saved you because of how gracious He is and that He loved you even when you were His enemy and covered in filthy sin.

A lot of this talk I was surprised that I liked and agreed with. Especially with the part about the fruit of the Spirit and people saying "don't pray for patience". We look at good and see how patient He is with us and it allows us to grow in that area. I like that but I'd say we miss the opportunity to repent for the times we are impatient and disobedient. Repentance is important even in the most basic relationships. If I fail to respect my wife in any way, I seek her forgiveness even when it was no big deal to her. It clears my conscience and guilt as well as moving me from shame to reconciliation. This is also how we should see God. All sin is against God even when it is against our neighbour. (Psalm 51) You should not speak in tongues with no interpretation or interpreter in the general assembly... 1 Corinthians 14:27. Jacob wrestling with an angel is in no way comparable to us wrestling with our emotions. Just read Genesis 32:22-31 and you will understand the difference. Even atheists "wrestle" with their emotions. No one gets injured wrestling with their emotions. Jacob was injured wrestling with this angel. Jesus did not save us so "we could save the world". Only Jesus saves (Acts 4:12). All we need to do is preach the Gospel. The entire Gospel is 66 books that includes God's love but His love is only understood in His holiness and justice. Jesus doesn't even have to die if it's just about God's love. Jesus died to satisfy the wrath of God. God is love is one verse from 66 books where we understand just God's character. If God is love and He is holy? That means we are not love and we are not holy. The only good in us or even around us is in Christ. Love is not a feeling. The love God talks about has very little to do with feelings. Feelings are the response to His love not the beginning of His love. The Scripture tells us to be careful not to go beyond what is written. 1 Corinthians 4:6. I find it odd that you use the Bible in a strange way. You pick certain verses and read your own ideas about God into them while ignoring verses that speak of God's judgment and wrath. You seem to believe we can know God outside of the Scriptures and have very direct communication with Him so why would we even need the Scriptures or why would you in particular use the Scriptures. All you have to say is "God told me" and "smiled at me" with a microphone and it seems you want that to convey as much meaning as the Scriptures themselves and possibly more. I love that God is a God of love, joy, peace, patience but make no mistake that when Jesus returns the enemies of God will be dealt with and not know Him. Enemies who made idols of Him. God is saying He is overwhelmed by us and our "cuteness"? God is not overwhelmed by anything and definitely not us. That is backwards and man-centred, self-help, and self-focused rubbish. We are and will ever be overwhelmed by Him. The openness is also refreshing in this. Sharing of your testimony and your families brokenness is to be applauded. I am not sure the context at which you are speaking but I'd hope there was some type of understanding that the body of Christ represented by local churches is patriarchal in God's design as shown in the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 11:3, 1 Corinthians 11:8-9, Ephesians 5:23, 1 Peter 3:1, 1 Peter 3:7, Genesis 2:18, 1 Timothy 3:2-4, 1 Timothy 2:12, Titus 1:6, Proverbs 12:4. It is good to not in Timothy 3:2-4 that overseeing the church congregation is tied up with managing your own house well. The Church is a macrocosm version of the family. How can a woman who cannot be head of her husband and family be the Head of a congregation of husbands and families? It does not pass the basic God-given logic test without even diving too deep into some of these tougher Scriptures. Love you all though and hope we all move closer to the truth as Jesus prayed for us in John 17:17

Although it was "better" (she wasn't just saying "poop" and "pus" for 30 minutes), there was so much incomplete teaching. Yes, we need to know that we are loved by God, but it is VITAL for us to realize that His kindness should lead us to repentance. Dora Edge This was heretical garbage. You used the phrase spirit of religion to describe a person who understands the Gospel and the holiness of God in a way that Abi nor you seem to. If that’s The way you use the word “religion” I’m okay with you calling me religious. Because you have conflated the words holiness and religious. This video was shameful, heretical, and blasphemous, and anyone who understands the Gospel and has been changed by the love of God would be offended hearing their Father and Savior talked about in this manner.

So Angry that y'all are trash talking her. It pisses me of so bad, that people don't believe that God is Love. He loved us so much that He sent His only Son to die for us. Why do some as God's children not believe it? I can't stand the freaking bickering and seperation of Christians. It literally pisses me off. Encourage one another, not bad mouth each other. Stop throwing stones at each other. Do you not think God is a joyful God? Does He not give abundance of Life? These negative reactions are sickening. God don't let the sun go down on my anger

1 John 4:1: "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." Is it loving to test the Spirits? Yes because the Lord has warned us. So we test. If we find a Spirit that is false, we as the church call it out - because we love others and do not want them to be decieved. Steve love is not always approval. Sometimes love is disapproval, discipline, calling out, holding accountable. You must know this. That being said anyone who would sin in anger or slander while doing this is not loving and should be reprooved.

I'm afraid you have this backwards. It's not women misleading men, it's men misleading women (and other men), who then go on to mislead others. The men of Bethel (in particular Bill Johnson) started all this mess. Remember: while women are prone to deception, men are prone to rebellion against the Father. This is a fact that men nowadays seem to conveniently forget.

Well you should start by not applying any makeup and forget about wearing stylish clothing. It's just not you, or should not be you. After all, we have to not think about ourselves. in fact, we should not think highly about ourselves to the point that we don't even like ourselves. In fact, I'm not even going to wash my hair any more, or even use deodorant. It's just that it is so time-consuming thinking about ways of bettering myself. I will then deny myself to the point of non-existence. Yes, I feel so liberated now!!!
