I also had many stuck notes or MIDI loops with my multiple synths plugged in all at once. The solution was to change the settings inside Ableton. change the MIDI channel from ALL to a dedicated number for each synth. Then change each synth's MIDI SEND to a matching number (1-16). Once I put each keyboard on its own channel in Ableton and on the synth - no more problems :) Also turn all MIDI locals off.

Morgan, on the TR-8 you can use an aggregate device and use the External Instrument in Ableton. As long as you have the TR-8 Driver installed, when you click on the External Instrument Drop Down you can see all the channels available from the TR-8. You can then have a track for each track on the TR-8. :) Works like a charm. Some please send that to Morgan. :)

FYI, mod wheel and pitch wheel on microbrute can be both midi cc controlled, and as mod wheel can be assigned to cutoff by the lfo/cutoff switch, cutoff is therefore cc controlled.

I've tried the soundtower one, but it is a crap, CodeKnobs just released their version and by using the demo it is pretty good. Finally we have the rekon, but is too expensive. What do you guys say? all you have to do with the microkorg is set the midiclock to ext

at first track delay is for already recorded audio or midi, it does not works when recording, so the problem can´t be avoid, with the track delay box, when you position the mouse over an external instruments Ableton gives a report in the bottom bar about how much latency the instruments is causing there is a box in the external instrument itself to compensate, but still not calculate the audio retour which comes from the sound card. Better do a complete course about latency. On Logic things can be set but in Ableton i had not yet solved the problem of the audio retour, i use Sync Gen pro II which make all my gear sound at the same tempo, so i can do a live session very easy including Ableton Loops and instruments all in perfect sync but of courses monitor off all the way in Ableton tracks, this video is a very bad tutorial, keep it simple yes better don´t try to play hardware with Ableton, that´s what i understand at end from this video. The delay compensation option for each harware connected on the Preference panel also don´t works, it is for the case that Ableton has controllers errors, but that´s not the problem, the CPU latency is the problem and Ableton can´t compensate for that as Logic does

can anyone explain to me why trashbooks are still used in audio? in 2010 i owned a mbp for studiowork and it was unusable. as soon as a second screen was plugged in u get a hum on the audio out. Same with most usb devices...all that money and u had to buy a external soundcard just so u can use 2 screens. yeah ...no. overall it was a shitbook i payed 2800euro for and threw it away not even a year later. Even in 3d, design and all that most people switched back to windows cause its just better than the trash that gets sold by apple. So are all these guys not using their macbook fully or hide the fact that its trash?
