I have come to a conclusion after 2 years of owning a RE Classic Reborn that "ALL ROYAL ENFIELD BIKES ARE GREAT. THE PROBLEM IS ROYAL ENFIELD ITSELF. I WISH SOME OTHER COMPANY MADE THESE BIKES AND SERVED ITS CUSTOMERS BETTER."

These RE service technicians doesn’t know anything about their own manufacturing bike bro.They will justify as “ Idhu apdi dhan adhu ipdi dhan varum” Going to RE service center is a waste of time bro.Since 2019 I too have the same issue in my classic 350 and now it’s clear because I approached a outside mechanic and my issue is solved.These guys will never resolve your problem bro.Since why I am saying this is I have experienced a lot with them.

Bro now a days RE focus only on sales they lose quality of the product even the spare parts they use doesn't have a longer life. bikes have rusting issues.BS3 bikes and Older RE bike like the cast iron engine are the best for ever MY GENERAL ADVICE TO ALL PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY BIKE WHICH IS LAUNCHED NEWLY IN THE MARKET WAIT FOR ATLEAST 6 MONTHS GET OPINION FROM OTHER OWNERS AND GO FOR IT ❤❤❤

Exactly bro, valve will hit the piston if the timing tension got disturbed, and obviously this noise will come. If you allow it for long, your head region will damage soon. I faced the issue in MT 15 which cost me 23k for service. Now I own the 450 too, it’s in the starting stage. Waiting for your next update bro. You just change the service centre, if they are not willing to service.

Try to ride in proper gears eventhough torque is 40nm this one is a short stroke engine . if not knocking inturn will definitely trigger tappet noise ....Always shift ur gears when speed reduces.......unlike the old gen 411 frequent shifts are mandatory ....so ride carefully... I had clocked abt 900+kms within a week which includes offroad too however I had not encountered any engine noise prob till date.Regarding coneset the distance between t clamps lower n upper is longer so any disruption will easily loose conesets frequent tightening required after an offroad...

I too had no issues in engine noise till 2500 kms , but now it is there . I have clicked 1350kms in 22 hrs under the rpm limit & Till 2 k kms vehicle was riden under the recommended rpm & no sudden throttle or downshifting , it is all there in all my videos posted earlier . All of sudden this happened and for example the test ride vehicles which were pushed to its limits in 1st to 4 gears does not have this issue which has clocked around 1.8k kms . So this nothing related to that & it doesn't feel like tappet noise as well. About cone set it is there from day one without offroad , which they r fixing it .

Truly expressed your experience bro..... I am also suffering after buying a Meteor 350😢 Both Royal Enfield product and the service center are worst, don't know what is happening with them... Hai bro my himalayan 450 ram around 530 kms. I got a cone set sound, rear disc noise. Went to showroom, they said we don't have a tool to adjust the cone as it is a new star type align keys. I had the tool and gave them. They did something and the handlebar got tight. Again went there , now they says, we adjusted as per company's 10 nm adjustment. But the sound is coming, lets talk with the ASM , TSM , and all revert back

Hi Lingesh... I even own H450. So one issue which I faced with in 1st 24 hrs was the hazard indicator was unable to switch off... So it will blink 7 times n then holds for 5 seconds then again 7 times blink. This was resolved after one month by replacing the entire right side switch mount which also included throttle too.

Hi lingesh , I go to the same service centre as you. I have a classic 350 had noise coming from the engine and like your experience they said .. that's how it is after 10k km 😂😂. Now , i have booked Himalayan 450 - kamet white and for service I will be going to same service centre as you . Now , I'm just frightened after seeing ur video and even thinking to cancel the booking and get ktm 390 adv . What's your view on this?

I believe the bike is really gud & enjoyable but any small issue then service centre experience kills that feel . I would suggest u to wait for the next batch bike brother ( maybe 6 months ) or wait for next gen 390 adv .

Or is it possible for me to manually extend the date in showroom to get a second batch? only solution they ll do is replacement which will again not solve the issue.. this is problem with their engine itself.. just raise the accelerator to max rpm so the oil gets pumped up and noise will reduce when you get the tappet noise.. rest there is no solution for this.

Coneset play has been an annoying and plaguing issue right from the inception of the Himalayan series right from 411 to to 450. The 411 had the crappiest coneset bearing setup and it used to throw repeated adjustment issues and I had lots of headache with it.. We had to live with this issue unless RE sincerely does something about it. You adjust the coneset, it will hold on for a while... and when you go off roads and ride on good roads, you will see the coneset going loose again and that khat sound coming from the front end..

It's common in indian bikes RE, HERO, TVS but bajaj sorted it out some how, this sound is caused bcoz of the srping present in head quality of metal which is used in the valves sping is low, indian manufacturers using low grade metal in head, but Japanese manufacturers won't

Never buy the first batch of any royal Enfield ! Naan 411 first batch vechu iruken I have had the worst experience. I had the same issue with the noise and they never solved it. Kadaisila ennoda bullet mechanic adha solve pannaru after 5 years of ownership. Sound use aagidum ungaluke.

this issue from engine started with uce 350 which i still hold. i did everything bringing dealer, regional managers, mail tweet etc and noting they can do.. surprised to see this even now in new vehicles.. minimum i have seen 5 new models released after 2010 . if they are unable to solve this one issue how they are selling vehicles globally..

Same issue are there for my Himalayan 450 as well including coneset noise, clutch lever screw is loose, disc noise etcc…but thankfully there is no engine issues so far and untill now as alrdy completed 1300kms. But for me today I got a call from showroom and they wantedly asked about the feedback and asked me to take the bike to showroom to address the issue…Let me wait for monday and see what they are gonna say…
