Bro, in your last video i have told that am facing no issues. Right now the same sound has started in my bike. Thanks for pointing the right issue in this video. I never thought of the tension adjuster and always focused on tappets. Probably the tension on spring is low and that's creates this sound in return. Omg this is creating a trauma everyday. For the past 2 weeks am worried when i start my bike 😓 For those who are planning to purchase himalayan 450 i would still recommended it. The bike overall performance is so good. But still these are minute issues which can be taken more care from Royal Enfield so customers are not disappointed. Happy ride everyone.

i also got my conset fixed during first service, before test ride only they said u might feel it a bit tight, felt bit abnormal initially but after sometime it feels normal. and that engine kity kity noise it seems normal, similar sound is there in other brands this type engines as well.

Coneset & engine noise has been fixed in my bike now , it is not normal actually. Will update in a proper video soon

Looks like thermal expansion or contraction of the metal is causing the issue , this means they had to change the material composition of the chain used ... This would need a big supply chain or inventory upgrade .... I think this will take a engine revision change , and not just a batch change to rectify this issue ...

try checking the same after 50 kms/hr speed in highway clean road, it wont do that, if its allignment issue in higher speeds also it should do that, i also had same worry with mine, they checked the allignment during first service no issue, in lower speed it feels like that, anyway mention that during first service.

I had a test drive couple of weeks ago and I had bad experience.. specifically in the traffic. Engine was noisy though test bike clocked only 2k kms and ride experience nothing closer to nimble. I was excited during initial launch but not now.

True ,but try test ride in another outlet with different bike. So you might get a different opinion

Same here, followed the leaks and news, waited almost 2 years. But after two testdrives I'm really not feeling it. It sounds really broken while it rides. Engine sound and rattle is higher than the exhaust sound. Plus the general switchgear quality and stuff is worse compared to Triumph scrambler 400x. But I don't like scramblers generally + 400x's console is really basic and lacks a lot of features. Otherwise much better choice than the Himalayan. Atleast for City use.

It's under warranty, it is the chain tensioner inside the engine not the chain

I think now it is settled in most of the bikes i guess brother. If the bike is going come after 2 or 3 months after waiting period I beleive all these engine issues might be fixed

Are you sure its chain tensioner? It should be engine tensioner. They will give you an invoice with the part that was changed

My primary guess is that since you've raised the coneset issue, they might have overtightened the coneset. When you overtighten the coneset, it will have a twitchy feeling and weave without your input left/right but very, very mildly and it the entire front end will feel tight and heavy to steer.

he has noise in coneset of his bike …second break pad noise third engine noise …he left the bike in showroom for a week…re has tightened the coneset but he feels that handle bar of his bike is little bit hard to turn around…after then those sounds were reduced but not fully….when he went on a trip to hills again he feels the same issues so he lands up again in re service centre…main issue is engine noise u can naturally hear in his vlogs like the engine is kind of grunty and unrefined …when you compare this with their 650 twins that engine is much more refined than this one
