The dog basically showed "no one's going nowhere" and it showed its contempt for pilots and aviation or maybe the Kodiak Ryan and the other pilot he was instructing.

The dog was glad you dropped by and was wishing you a great flight home! Great to see Ambundi, and the Sepik river. The weather in PNG is so important to prepare for in advance. Fuel planning for alternate airstrips when the weather closes in, is very critical for sure. The new digital technology has become a great tool for weather, that bush pilots didn't have in the early days. Thanks Jeff and Ryan, for showing some of the challenges of being missionary bush pilots.

Happens in a lot of places. I had some interruptions at KARR near Chicago during my tailwheei training with a coyote on the runway. A tower controlled runway. Shows us how much control people really have!

ABORT , wow, lucky you didn't get fresh barkers eggs stuck to your Dunlops. Nice footage of Ambunti, it certainly has grown, there were only 4 or 5 bush material buildings in the late 60s. I got a ride in a 336 skymaster( Ansett MAL ) government charter from Madang to Ambunti in 1969.There was only a patrol officer, medical outpost & a mission church & school & the mighty Sepik. Thanks for the ride & a smooth landing in Wewak.

I took the Kodiak 100 course yesterday and it was a blast! Really awesome to have everything condensed to the important bits. I think one worthwhile addition would be to talk about weight balance, center of gravity, and how to adjust trim accordingly (especially elevator trim). I used SimWorks Kodiak 1000 on MSFS 2020 and on heavy-loaded flight I almost crashed on takeoff due to improper trimming. Also perhaps talk about aileron trimming, when is that used exactly on the Kodiak? How to adjust rudder trim during all phases of flight?

Same here I recently purchased the SimWorks Kodiak and on a heavy takeoff the plane went nose up against my inputs and the results were not pretty.

To my mind an aborted (Rejected) take-off is when the AC has actually started the roll (At least that's what I was taught) , I would say this was more of a decision to not commence the roll due to an obstruction appearing, correct me if I'm incorrect.
