The official music video for Above & Beyond's summer single "Blue Sky Action"-- directed by Ken Clark (who also did the band’s “Sticky Fingers” video) -- is a cinematic sci-fi immersion that joins the dots between the apocalyptic desert terrain of Mad Max and the toxic town love story of Wall-E.
Opening with our male protagonist rummaging through rubble in a desolate, life-starved dystopia. While technology and futuristic gadgets lie in every direction, our protagonist only finds his true release when he receives an unexpected visit from a catsuit beauty from outer space.

Was about to end it all today. A rainy morning, walking alone under the railway overpass. Listening to my liked song list in Spotify. Once this song came on, the sun broke out from the clouds, almost like a movie scene. I decided to face my struggles. Then went on to listen to my favourite podcast, abgt 216 and all the memories of good times just flooded. Always will love above and beyond. I hope to see them live one day.

Can't Sleep, Alone Tonight, Sun & Moon, Thing Called Love and then We're All We Need which I thought was the best up until now....THIS is possibly their masterpiece! Jim Owens yes, I'm well aware of that. It makes me happy to see music videos heading back towards being story driven, taking inspiration from movies and having some substance. I have nothing against artistic nudity nor sex. However, I think that videos are becoming shallow and the only thing you find in them is sex, beautiful people, cool clothes, green screens lots of dancing. So it really makes me happy to see such story-driven music videos, for a change, even if they copy the idea from a film or video game.

Great song and even greater video. It makes sense to use a human version of Wall-E because he was a loner and enjoying the world alone and meets Eva and turns his dull world around, and make his skies bluer

Great song! I love how Above & Beyond 's sound has evolved. The vocals by Alex Vargas are excellent, as per usual -- that man puts his heart into everything he does. The video captured my interest throughout...although at the end, all I could think about was WALL-E...but that's okay, because I like that story too. =D

Nope, they are still producing Trance, look at "Hello", "Mariana Trench", "You Got To Believe", their latest releases which are Trance. "Sticky Fingers" is Trance too even though beatport placed it in the prog house genre, but beatport has done this to many Trance tracks because of the low BPM. And their sets at festivals are Trance too. The thing about ABGT is that they are promoting other unknown producers, doesn't matter the genre. But they (personally) are still with Trance, even though their sound has changed a bit. :)
