Inspired by the cinema classic Vertigo by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock, the stylish film noir music video taps into the song's themes of a love distraught and its ongoing psychological hold. Lingering memories of a past love are felt as an intoxicant without antidote, as our protagonist fails to separate the imagined from the real. All this is vividly brought to life by the heartbreaking lament in the voice of Alex Vargas, who performs live in the video alongside the band themselves. A downward spiral visualized by a throwback film noir set and shoot, the "Sticky Fingers" music video again highlights Above & Beyond's dedication to both style and substance.
Jono, Tony and Paavo also broached a true career milestone this week, having become not only the first British DJs to headline Madison Square Garden, but to sell it out as well.

This most recent accomplishment sits as a testament to the trio's loyal fans, both those in the New York area and the thousands of others flying in from around the country and the world. Jono, Tony and Paavo are overjoyed to add another legendary chapter to the history of their annual live radio shows, which have been broadcast from Beirut, to Jayamahal Palace in Bangalore, India, to London's 10,000 capacity Alexandra Palace.
Above & Beyond feat. Alex Vargas "Sticky Fingers" will be released on May 19 via Anjunabeats/Ultra Records. The full release will be accompanied by a deep, dreamy house remix from fast rising Anjunadeep talent Lane 8 and an experimental drum & bass rework from Metalheadz's Om Unit.

Anyone who isn't sure on this songs quality on first listen.. Try listen to it another 3 times or so! It WILL grow on you! Absolute gem by the masters.

This happened to me also... actually the whole Acoustic II CD was sort of ho-hum for me but I listened to it a few more times in the last two days and wow.. I am sooo hooked. It's absolutely masterful.

They're truly amazing! I live in Uruguay (South America) and I haven't had the chance yet to see them live. I'm waiting for them to come to Argentina. Anyways it's not so easy to me to go to Argentina but I hope some day I can enjoy them live.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Alex and I worked together for about 3 years and, despite a weird split, we had some good times and he should be rocking the shit out of the pop market, driving people back to true, heartfelt music. His guitar and voice should be heard globally. Nothing else.

What I love about A&B lately: They capture emotions that straight trance doesn't usually evoke. For example - Black Room Boy is so melancholic it's ridiculous! This song brings out some edgy vibes; different direction and it's great!

I remember hearing this song at Lights All Night the very first time they ever dropped it and I was literally hanging out with the girl that this song was about. Such a crazy feeling but damn shout out to A&B, always hitting right in the feels.
