Wow! From all I've read about Mr. Lincoln's speaking style and voice, that's probably the most authentic and moving delivery of this great speech that I've ever heard. Thank you sir. Honestly, it was an honor to hear this.

I think he's one of thee best to portray Abe Lincoln..Poor Abe Lincoln didn't get to see the completion of end of the Civil War and the rebuilding Reconstruction of our country..but in that statement what would Lincoln think about America today..would he be ashamed of our foolish attitudes about freedom and justice..like his beloved Republican party..he wouldn't even recognize it today..soo sad..he was a good man, great President

What a stirring performance. It’s almost as if President Lincoln is speaking his address yet again at the National Cemetery at Gettysburg where so many young men gave their lives so “that nation might live”. “The world will little note nor long remember what we say here”., the president said but we do remember.

Overly histrionic. Lincoln had a high voice; but he wasn't a deaf-mute. His vocal mannerisms put me in mind more of Marlee Matin, and the Kentucky accent is missing (mr. Cheermun, git, etc) . No disrespect towards anyone.

No one says this speech properly ! It is obvious that Lincoln intended to emphasize the words : we, they, and our. As in : " WE cannot consecrate...WE cannot dedicate...or, what THEY did here". This delivery is over dramatic and takes away from Lincoln's determination to focus on the sacrifice of the brave soldiers who fought and died at Gettysburg. Also, Lincoln's quote that " All men are created equal" flies in the face of public statements he made in 1858, when debating Stephen Douglas during the Senate campaign he lost. Lincoln pronounced negroes as being INFERIOR to the white race, and that he would always be on the side of white people in any argument about this subject. Lincoln also said that he believed if negroes interbred with whites, it would produce" a new and violent race which would threaten the very existence of white people ". Ha !! You don't see THOSE words carved into his marble memorial, do you ??

Benjamin Franklin was reincarnated as Abraham Lincoln. George Washington was reincarnated as Robert E. Lee. On the morning of July 3, 1863, General Lee was aware that it was on this day 88 years before in 1775 that General Washington took command of the Continental Army. Lee knew the next day would be July 4th and he was determined to have this battle end the war one way or another. He saw it as GOD's will and destiny that these dates and events aligned. When he was in Appomattox on April 9, 1865, he knew it was Palm Sunday and again recognized that alignment as GOD's will and destiny. GOD=7_4, 7/4=July 4th (G is the 7th letter, a circle O, D=4). 7/4/1863 was the day the Union won the war. Gettysburg was over, it was pouring rain and Lee began his retreat without Meade pursing him. Vicksburg surrendered to Grant after a 47-day siege. Lincoln gave a speech at the White House saying, "87 years ago". Before his Address at Gettysburg, 'Father Abraham' realized he could reword that to state, "4 score and 7 years ago, our fathers". Lincoln practically had the King James Bible memorized and would interject Bible verses in his talking and speeches. "Abram (Abraham) was 4 score and 6 years old when the slave girl Hagar gave birth to Ishmael." - Genasis 16:16. Lincoln was the 16th president (P16resident) at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. He was shot on Good Friday with his wife Mary at his side, but he didn't die that day. GOD's will and destiny.
