Abraham Lincoln was one of my favorite 19th century president of the US since he abolished slavery and gained power on the Union who won the Civil War over the Confederacy before he was assassinated, thus being the first President victimized by an assassin.

Booth broke his legs on his jump and he never recovered. In the barn, he raised a rifle and a soldier shot him in the neck.

Booth refused to come out and surrender so they set the barn on fire to try to get him out. Instead he raised his rifle to threaten the officers and was shot by Boston Corbett.

Booth was also shot inside the burning barn when he refused to surrender not standing out in the open. They were under orders to take Booth alive but Boston Corbett disobeyed.

When Booth shot Lincoln, fatally stabbed Major Rathbone with a dagger, and he leaped over the President's Box into the stage, which applying that every American citizen screaming after the gunshot, then this time he said shouted in Latin "Sic Semper Tyrannis" or "Thus Always To Tyrants", and he ran away with his fractured right legs.

You made a mistake in showing two young sons at the end. At the time of his death, Lincoln had one young son and one adult son. Willie had died in 1862. And why use such great music and then cut it off at the end?

There were actually two other people in the box with the Lincolns Rathbone and either his girlfriend or wife. And yes he did struggle with Booth until Booth stabbed him. He made a full recovery though.

No. Even some Southerners mourned for Lincoln because he realize that Lincoln was going to be lenient on the South.

No. Booth was a Southern sympathizer and white supremacist who viewed Lincoln as an evil tyrant and thought he could rally the South up with his death. Thankfully he failed to rally the South and today Lincoln is hailed as a hero as he should be.
